2022 Progress Report (Patreon)

As April approaches, I’d like to take a quick moment to provide an update for the Meatier Showers series line-up:

Based on early projections from a year ago, we will continue to see the ongoing release of one fully colored Meatier Showers comic page on a monthly basis for 18 months, culminating to a complete story of 18-pages over the course of Jan 2022 to Jun 2023.

Come Jun 2022, my 6-month contract as a digital media production assistant will end, after which I will be able to resume more regular weekend art streams and spend the remainder of 2022 pouring my full attention to "Beach Comic Part 1" which is now produced under the working title of, "Meatier Showers: Swole Mates".

All this is happening with a secondary "Special Guest Comic" which I am working on the side with an editor. This project is not specifically related to Meatier Showers, but it is something fairly adjacent to what I hope to achieve. The script has just been approved recently so I'm able to touch briefly on this subject, and hopefully share actual works-in-progress eventually.

On the subject of the "Beach Comic Part 2" (working title only) A new story outline has already been prepared for Meatier Showers (2024) that serves as a new iteration of an earlier kink story that is close to heart. I have been asked before if i’ll return to many fan-favorite couples, Tanz & Groover, and the answer is that while we may see them go about their lives together in the world of Meatier Showers, there are no stories planned at the moment where they are the central characters. Given the current state of the world and the way it has been affecting me, as an artist, storyteller and content creator, I am compelled more to focus on silly sex stories that provide a raunchy escape and comforts. I hope that fans of the series will understand my position and continue to support my future projects.

A Closer Look

To better illustrate where we currently are in production, if you refer to the progress bars above:

• 17 / 18 pages have been fully drafted, with the last page still at placeholder sketches.
• 6 / 18 pages or 1 / 3 of Swole Mates have been fully inked. The other 2 / 3 will resume its production in Jun 2022.
• 3 / 18 pages have currently been fully colored, lettered and released for public viewing.

The production is running in staggered overlapping stages to accommodate with the new rollout schedule, as compared to my previous projects where the whole comic is released only when the whole project is done.
