After a painfully boring 1-hour video presentation of our initial plans, we (marketing, creative and management) have decided it would be in our best interests to scrap SIDE B as the final product, seeing how structurally unsound its story elements are.

In response to the ever-depleting time resources, we feel that SIDE A is able to better stand on its own as a core story. However, as of now, SIDE A is only a humble short story of 18 pages. In order for SIDE A to be sales-worthy, it needs to be at least within a range of 28-32 pages of content for that "sweet spot", otherwise the book is going to turn out more like a flimsy brochure no one wants to buy. To tackle this predicament, creative has spent the entire afternoon banging their heads to arrive at a feasible solution, without disrupting the integrity of the core story that is SIDE A. Creative has not only managed to expand upon the existing SIDE A prototype, but with measured dialogue tweaks, we are able to reuse existing content from SIDE B as well, which helps save on production time.

Based on the illustration above, as of this point, 14 pages will be added to SIDE A to expand it into a complete, stand-alone story that will be the body of Meatier Showers issue 6. Of the 14 add-on pages, 8 pages have been selected from SIDE B and strategically inserted into SIDE A, sandwiching the core story between 2 cushy buns, while another 6 pages are all-new content tailor-made to tie in these additional SIDE B elements so that everything works together as a whole. Basically creative tells management that what we're looking at is a substantial, tasty looking meat-filled burger that will please consumers.

Marketing (us) have our work cut out to, in that all that the initial Kaiju vs Macrofur campaign will have to cease and desist. All efforts now in PR and marketing are geared towards reestablishing the original "muscle growth" brand image that is in line with our "Meatier Showers" core brand of lighthearted muscle porn entertainment.

HR is currently maintaining talks with the Donryu and will be engaging his art services with laying out the flat colors once production is able to send out completed inked work. For now, production is scrambling to get these 6 new pages of content out by the second week of September, (hopefully) on time for the next Patreon update.
