Terribly sorry for the long silence. November has been exhausting and intense, especially since the weekend when my housing agent threw me under the bus, and I nearly had to move out (on very short notice) end of the month. I may elaborate on the details in a later journal post, but if you've been following me on my Twitter account, you'll understand that it's been a harrowing time. So, I won't be beating around the bush. Let's get down to the updates I have to share!

Previous Poll Results

With October's polling, Beast King from One Punch Man got the highest vote. I had already commenced on sketching the character last month, however I cannot hide the reality that I am  creatively burnt out both from my day job, my daily 2.5-hour commute and housing concerns.

By the time I started working on Beast King, I had lost all enthusiasm and could no longer work on him. My heart just wasn't there anymore and my mind was battered with pressing issues like finding alternative accommodations. Even after giving up gaming in September, here was simply not enough recovery time despite my best efforts. Oddly enough, when I was still gaming on some weekends, I found myself able to resume strength and energy. I'm still trying to isolate what's been draining me so much - and it could be something as simple as the fact that I need to draw or work on something for myself.

FAP Hiatus

I will be taking an extended break between December and January to gather myself and see if I recover. Originally, the plan was to start working on FAP "couples edition", for example, "Leomon x Weregarurumon". However rather than making empty promises, it's safer to say that I absolutely need to take a 2-month hiatus and figure out the rest once I find clarity of mind.

In the Interim

I will be converting my Patreon to a monthly sketch dump for my stream sketches. I will be rolling out the compiled sketches on 1 Dec 2018 to see how the reception is. I will include some stream videos for downloads for $5 and above patrons. As paying supporters, you have every right to choose what's financially best for you. Your support goes a long way to covering for bills and groceries - and I always set aside $15 for Picarto monthly so that fans can catch streams they miss out on. You may wish to return in February, when new projects are lined-up and explore other creators, or you may choose to wait and I will try to find something to compensate for the downtime upon my recovery.
