Apparently Clips4Sale files can be up to 6.5GB in size. 

I've been keeping below 3.5GB

Has quality been okay, or would people like (and be able to use) higher bitrate files?

Bearing in mind that 4k clips would be split into 2-3 sections of 6GB each. Someone's got a big hard drive! ;D

You should think about encoding (as an option) in H265. Basically half the file size and bit rate with the same quality.

My current version of Premiere doesn't go higher than H264 Aaand after purchasing Adobe Creative Suite for a mini fortune years ago, I've no interest in paying them a monthly fee forever to use the latest (buggier) version of their software. :P
