I've been a little talkative of late, as far as clarifying things about Wizards and maybe teasing out some secrets here and there on social media, and I've got to reign it in a bit. I do it for a reason! It's generally just to keep track of what the story itself communicates, and to make sure things are reading as clearly as possible. Keeping an eye on the most commonly asked questions in comments and everywhere else helps me understand what it is I need to address in future story arcs.

All of that to say, I think this page speaks pretty clearly for itself: Wu said "Hey, don't teach this in my school," and the administration decided to sneak it into the curriculum anyway and hope he wouldn't find out. Wu doesn't personally review every single lesson plan, and it's easy to tuck a little lesson into a small little classroom he wouldn't notice, right? But the fact that this one was so large, and taking up the entirety of such a prominent building, makes me think it's been happening for awhile, and whoever was in charge got a little ballsy.

Wu isn't happy, to say the least.

(Please let me know if there are any spelling errors.)

small quibble about syntax in panel 3:

"explicitly remember" is kind of an odd turn of phrase. "remember explicitly forbidding" matches what I think Wu wants to say.. or maybe "clearly remember forbidding".

Nathan Weber

It's an odd turn of phrase, but it's so frequently used in practice that it's no often seen as "incorrect".
