Rather than being bored, I'm just impressed at the sheer arrogance displayed by Mr. "teach a basic understanding" here. Reminds me of certain people I used to know. In terms of scientific knowledge, this field is in its infancy. (I mean 6 years??? That's nothing!) Multiple glaring holes in the knowledge base were just pointed out, which inherently prevent an ability to understand the material well enough to know "the basics," let alone teach them. I would say I look forward to Mr. Know-It-All getting put in his place, but... somehow I don't see this group siding with wisdom or caution...

Ever had that discussion about the difference between 'Intelligence' and 'Wisdom'? Well, Intelligence is working out how to summon beings from another dimension to be your slaves. Wisdom is not doing it.

Upper Class Twits getting involved in teaching demonic summoning. I can't see how this could possibly go wrong. Oh, wait, we DID see how this could go wrong!!!!!

You can tell that none of those people used to be adventurers. Adventurers would have reacted to the demon-possessed dog *noting exactly how long it had been since demon-summoning started* in the standard fashion (three called shots to the head). It just saves time, really.

Is that Gwen in the second to last panel? That looks like Gwen
