I completely forgot to document the old "office" before we started taking it apart to move, but please let me emphasize the fact that the first photo makes things look downright roomy, since we had already gotten a lot of the clutter out of there and partially packed up some things.

Just out of the shot, to the right, is the couch and TV. 3 feet away, directly behind where I stood to take the photo, is our dining room table. Outside those windows? A four lane road, with traffic 24/7 - it's also one long, straight track, so people with souped up cars who wanted to open up their engines would do so at 2 or 3 in the morning. The windows don't stay shut either, so we were in a constant battle with the dust and grime coming in from the street, which coated every flat surface. The AC window unit blew hot air.

SO THIS NEW PLACE? There's a WHOLE ROOM just for our desks. There are PLANTS outside. There's a CLOSET that we don't know what to fill with.

aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh it's so NICE, you guys

Most imortantly, everything is out of boxes and on desktops and plugged in. It's time to get back to work...!

Yay!! It's always nice to move someplace nicer than what you leave behind.

SPAAAAAACE. Look at all that light! Nothing better to keep you in the groove than a comfy workspace. Well, that and music. Music is important.
