Better late than never, I guess...

I won't ramble on too long with how things have been going for me personally, but long story short, I found a new homeowner's insurance company, that has far more reasonable premiums than my previous one;  also, had new storm storm shutters installed for the back of the house, which should lower the insurance premiums even further.

I'll still need to have my roof refurbished for maximum savings for my insurance, but with the lower rates I've already I got, I can at least defer that until my financial situation becomes less dire...

With regards to my medical situation - it seems the medication I'm taking for my anxiety is finally beginning to work;  also, my emergency room bill was waived, and I should get a significant discount, if not a waived fee for the doctor's bills.  Unfortunately, I had no choice but to pay full charge for my ambulance ride, to the tune of almost $900;  the ambulance services being run by the county government offers no discounts or mercy for those without insurance or low income.

Anyway, with things more or less stabilizing, I'm finally get back up to full speed again with my artwork.

Inspired by one of Rab's (https://www.patreon.com/LayerIndustries/posts) works, for this month's announcement 'poster', I made this illustration of Akari sitting at her desk and browsing the web...while wrapped in a latex catsuit, boots and gloves, and breathing air from a MSA(esque) gas mask hooked up to an SCBA.

Depending on the number of likes for this, I might do a follow up where she decides to look up some more 'spicy' websites....
