September 2022 update (Patreon)

Ended up going to the doctor several weeks ago;  since the antidepressant I was previously taking didn't work and only made things worse, I was switched over to a different one - I've yet to notice any positive effects so far.

In a bit of a good news, I was eligible for relief with regards to my hospital bills last month, which lifts quite a burden off my shoulders...

...however, that's been overshadowed by my home insurance situation.  I had an inspection done of my house earlier this week, and it was less than favorable, to put it mildly.  The roof that was put up to replace the original that was damaged in a hurricane almost two decades ago, before I bought the house was apparently constructed in a sloppy manner - evidence of corner-cutting was everywhere.

I had a roofing contractor stop by to inspect the roof for an estimate - although the weather prevented him from doing a thorough inspection, it doesn't look good - work on the roof will likely start at around $3000USD, and probably go up considerably higher than that.

Also, I'll need to have the sliding glass door and kitchen window fitted for storm shutters, which will cost me even more money that I don't know I'll have when all of this is said and done.

So, mentally and physically, I'm pretty much just as much of a wreck this month as I was last month, and I'm not very optimistic about the immediate future.

Still, I managed to get some crude scribbles out of the way - mostly to keep from going rusty and try to take my mind of the current shit sandwich life continues to serve.  This is what I've done so far this month. Sorry about the lack of polish compared to my usual WIPS. (Title pic, then left-to-right order):

(Original) - Aoi passing the time fully suited in her quarters on her spaceship - hopefully she has the door locked...

Day 1(wet) - Celia leaning against a well, fresh out of the water in a smoothskin wetsuit.

Day 2(blueish) - Aoi underwater in a blue wetsuit and snorkeling.

Day 3(Floatie) - Anna lounging around in a pool, well prepared in case the float she's on somehow capsizes...

Day 4(Vehicle) - Reika, Akari and Midori in a scene somewhat inspired from the James Bond flick 'The Spy who Loved Me'.

Day 5(Fins) - Yukari underwater in scuba showing off her...fins.

Day 7(Kiss) - Akari and Reika underwater in scuba, locking lips...

Day 8(Depth) - Celia alone in cold, deep water with less-than-friendly crowd...

Day 9(Blackout) - Aoi gets the drop on Yukari and shuts off the valve to her air tank, with predictable results.

Day 10(Merfolk) - Celia encounters a strange creature swimming around her with claw-like hands looming menacingly close to her rebreather's hoses.

Day 11(Pool) - Midori and Aoi about to go for a dive wearing gear from the early 80s and late 60s, respectively.

Day 13(Boat) -  Reika exploring the unfortunate remains of  a sunken watercraft.

Day 15(Other liquids) - Celia encounters some weird fluidic mass during a dive.

Day 16(Snorkel) - Aoi ends up getting her hands and legs tied whilst someone's palm blocks her snorkel's breathing tube...

Well, that's about it.  Again, I'm sorry for the lack of any new illustrations or any real positive news in general.  As much as I'd like to get work on lineart, coloring and shading, with everything going on around me as of late I just can't right now and I don't know when I'll be back to normal.
