After selling off my old GPU, last night, my dad belatedly offered to loan me one of the various GPUs he had lying around in my garage; one of those was an AMD Radeon RX 570, which was roughly equivalent to my old Geforce GTX 970.
Given the current situation regarding GPU stocks, and being a bit desperate at this point, I took him up on his offer. Took out the soggy-french-fry-forgotten-under-the-seat-of-the-car 'card' and promptly replaced it with the 570 this morning; plugged my Cintiq into it, powered up my PC, and after a few minutes of working out some software bugs, picked up where I left off.
While it's not quite the replacement I had in mind, I think it's enough to get by on until the whole GPU situation is resolved (whenever that is...).
