Dick, you started your argument about Bill Nye with a disclaimer that credentials don't and shouldn't matter, and then continued the argument by suggesting Bill Nye doesn't know what he's talking about because his official college credentials are inadequate. We all know that someone is capable of knowing things not attached to a degree, in other words, Bill Nye could have been and probably has spent a lot of time since the Boeing days learning things. The idea that he couldn't know more about a scientific subject than you because your degree is from a better school is silly and I'm sure you know that, yet you brought that in as your main point. Honestly, this felt like you started with your conservative political viewpoint and went backwards to justify it. I haven't seen the Bill Nye series you are talking about and I believe I wouldn't like it or agree with the message by your description of it so please don't take my criticism as a partisan line in the sand or anything like that. I think you just chose a really shitty argument that could have easily had holes poked in it by anybody. To that end I think Sean should stop being such a yes man and start calling out nonsense when he hears it. Nobody is infallible, maybe you need someone to call you out live once and a while. We don't need another Maddox to clash hard on everything, just someone who won't smile and nod at everything you say regardless of its merit. I bring it up because I've thought a couple times in the last month that some counter points would have been a good thing. Regardless, love the show obviously. Been a big swingin' dick since day 1 or 2, and not just so I can make criticisms that probably wont be read.

Your credentials shouldn't matter but when you lean on your credentials of being a children's TV show host to portray yourself as an authority on science while peddling stupid progressive nonsense you deserve to get hosed. You even said yourself that you didn't watch anything from the new show. Nye basically just uses it as a political soapbox. No fucking science involved.
