The entire purpose of raising the minimum wage is to squeeze out all the small businesses until the only companies left are Walmart and Amazon

The purpose would be to lower crime and suffering. I don't see the connection of why it would hurt small business only. Amazon do not want an increased minimum wage, because it would ruin their business model of taking advantage of the uneducated workforce.

Because those companies will be able to recover and find a new way to keep their revenue stream going. Small businesses are just going to end up extinct. Look at what happened during covid, small businesses are struggling as it is

If the government wants to pay it's employees a minimum wage that's fine. It's entirely against the free market concept to set the wages for other people. Wages would sort themselves out naturally. Nobody would work at a place for tree fiddy an hour, they wouldn't be able to hire and would fail. Wages should be open to free competition. It would find equilibrium with the economy naturally.

Even here in Norway which some of you Americans call socialist we don't have minimum wage, leftist love to shit on game theory because it's simple and disprove their entire philosophy, but usually the most logical solution is the simplest one and that is wage is based on what two parties both agree on, compromise. no third party intervening in any ones favor. if it wasn't for illegal immigrants and we had job employe shortage without welfare then wages would rise, which is why corporations want unlimited immigration as it means unlimited number of potential workers driving wages down due to competition.
