To Sean's question about vaxxers "what does it matter who says it if what they're saying is right": the point is that the vaxxers and anti-vaxxers are the same group of easily swayed morons, it's just that a different idea got to each group first. This is a problem because it means that if you're trying to convince people of anything, you have to wade through arguments with one of the two groups that you can never win because they don't understand anything, but they're convinced they must be right because they've been "right" about all these other things in the past (even though they don't understand those things either).

Sean, the truth may exist independent of you, but facts are only as good as the conclusions we draw from them. The experts saying "if we want to slow the spread of the virus, we should self-isolare" is just a fact. It is *intuitive* for us to conclude that we should self-isolate, but *logically* we first need to use our beliefs and other known facts to prove that we want to slow the spread of the virus. And even if we conclude that we should self-isolate, we need to then prove whether we should just have everyone self-isolate, or if we should have the government mandate that every self-isolates.
