To tell the truth, for me this one deserves at least a 4K version. ^^ (and larger, to fit 16/9 screens). But it's just me.

And the old render engine. It's a long time to make a 4K picture.

Yes, there is unfortunatelly expensive (long) render time for this, and all old picture set. Really when I made the first 4K renders with my old pictures when I got an opportunity at my workplace for many free render time. Few pictures will 4K from tihs set of course, but not all. I am rendering hard new Smurfettes now, unfortunatelly there is no free machine time now.
