Contrary to Twilight here, when I was in the college they didn't have enough volunteers for modeling during life drawing and so asked students themselves to pose for a fee. Some girls with a more bohemian attitude (what we used to call "Granola" ) in fact volunteered. Despite being a 19 year old with only a handful of girlfriends prior it was actually much less awkward as it was much easier to draw when you already knew the model and could openly discuss the poses, the lighting, and the end results.

I often feel like there's a funny disconnect between drawing porn and the sexually neuter nature of actual life studies.
