Luckily there is Wikipedia to guide me. I imagine the character designers at the time "So guys, you take a blonde girl, Candy version, face, build, hair etc etc and you draw her in a super sexy way because she must represent "love and desire". Result: a pretty young girl with a tsundere tendency... Well I'm keeping the first version (the one with flowers in her hair), because if I bite her like the other one I think I'm going to have trouble with her parents. :)
