Devlog #57 & Title Poll (Patreon)

Hello everyone! As I mentioned last week, we finally decided on some names for the second Dekarama game!

The name Dekamara has humor to it, it actually means ‘big dick’ in Japanese. So on one hand we can add humor or we can make it more serious, or add to the humor. I usually like mixing seriousness with humor, so I hoped to find one more serious title, but it was kinda hard without making it sound cringe for us.

As for where the first title is coming from; the second Dekamara game takes place in a town that’s cursed by a Forest Nymph called Mystise, for reasons unknown to the player. Others are just goofy names, nothing special. With this poll, we would like to hear which one you like the best. This is not the main deciding factor, we just want to hear your opinions.

With that said, we’ve been discussing some changes to how our Patreon tiers work with Shy and we are making some decisions to completely change it and what the benefits are going to be. Since the beginning, Patreon seemed like extra work on top of our projects and I just didn’t know what to do to be honest and I wasn’t satisfied with its current state.

But Since I started to work on Dekamara 2, which is going to be bigger than the first game, I want to involve you(our supporters) in the development process and even allow you to be involved to some degree, if you want. To do that, we are going to completely change tier benefits but as we promised, every patron is going to get Steam keys on release regardless of these changes. These changes are going to take place before or with the Steam release(not the Steam page launch) and we’ll let you know beforehand with all the details. See you next time!
