Full Length Reaction Guide

We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.  Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.  Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.  Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

  • Use a dual monitor PC setup to watch both screens simultaneously
  • Use the split screen functions on your computer/phone to watch them side by side
  • Chromecast / Screenshare one screen to your TV while watching the other screen on a phone or laptop
  • HDMI your laptop / tablet to the TV and use the TV as a 2nd monitor (not mirror display)
  • Use your Smart TV or Gaming console to play the YouTube reaction and your Phone/Laptop to play the show (or other way around)

After you’re done with the movies, since you’re not going to read the books, you should check out A Very Potter Musical if you want some ridiculous fun. Editing: Nevermind. I forgot Spartan didn’t like Ember Island Players, and it’s the Harry Potter version of that only with real careers resulting from it.

Yayyyyyy I can FINALLLY POST MY THEORY!!! Soooo the reason why the sorting hat wanted to put Harry into SLYTHERIN was because Voldemort was sorted into SLYTHERIN, not only that but he is a DESCENDANT of SLYTHERIN. On top of that the horcuxes in the series are like pieces of a whole pie that aren’t different that the whole just cause it’s a piece of the whole, meaning they share the same memories and life experiences of the piece of the soul’s main body, and when you go to look at the lyrics to the first song sung by the sorting hat in the book, it says “- there’s nothing hidden in your head the sorting hat can’t see.” So if Harry is a horcrux and has a piece of literal SLYTHERIN himself inside him (via blood related descendant). So the hat naturally wanted to place him into SLYTHERIN

Pudgey is one of two reactors I’ve seen to realize it’s Moodys eye in the door. Another thing they don’t explain well in the movies is 1 body + 6 objects. = 7 pieces so he only made 6 himself being the 7. I may be wrong but there was no helping Dobby I think the blade was cursed and curses are tricky George’s ear was cursed off and cannot be repaired. Magic has rules and laws that they explain in the book. I get why they wouldn’t put it in the movie. I hope the series they come out with does the books actual justice. Love your reactions btw

FUNFACTS: 1.Lunas father is portrayed by the same actor as Otto Hightower from HotD. 2. The actor for the Minister who died is Bill Nighy, who is best known for his role as Davy Jones in the Pirates of the Carribbean Franchise.

Great reaction! I love your guys' tendency to not believe any deaths that haven't happened on screen (and ones that do happen on screen as well). As for the blood purity issue, Voldemort being a half-blood is not well known. They value pure blood above all else, but they are not automatically against all half-bloods. For instance, Snape is known to be a half-blood. But a half-blood who supports them is better than the "blood traitors" like the Weasleys who are pureblooded. Even if Voldemort's lineage was well-known, he rules from the shadows, and is not officially involved with the Ministry. The propoganda they implement after they take over the Ministry is basically that all Muggleborns are not "true" witches or wizards, but they are Muggles who "stole" the magic and wand of a "real witch/wizard". This is not true, obviously, but they use it as a pretense to strip Muggleborns of their wands and imprison/kill them. They also made attendance at Hogwarts compulsory, so that they could force Muggleborn students out of school and have hostages of wizarding families that may oppose them under their control. Many of the Muggleborns have either been captured/killed, fled Britain, or are in hiding. The book also goes into cases where witches/wizards essentially fabricate a magical relative and pass off Muggleborns as half-bloods or full bloods. This is why we see Snatchers at the end with a list of known Muggleborns in hiding, and why Harry and Hermione both come up with fake names that wouldn't be on the list. For the purposes of clarity, Voldemort split his soul into seven pieces, but only made the six horcruxes, with the seven piece of his soul being in his body. After the diary and ring that were destroyed before this movie, along with the locket destroyed here, there are now 3 horcruxes left to be destroyed.

These comments are full of spoilers. There is an upcoming HBO series that will be much more in depth. People writing essays about what was left out are spoiling the show for people that never read the books.

It's probably baffling to them because they personally wouldn't do anything like that, and it's unfamiliar to their character as people.
