Game of Thrones Uncut Reaction S5 E1 'The Wars to Come'

Full Length Reaction Guide

We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.

Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.

Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.

These reactions DO NOT include our intros and discussions. You will have to refer to the original edited version of the video.

Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

  • Use a dual monitor PC setup to watch both screens simultaneously
  • Use the split screen functions on your computer/phone to watch them side by side
  • Chromecast / Screenshare one screen to your TV while watching the other screen on a phone or laptop
  • HDMI your laptop / tablet to the TV and use the TV as a 2nd monitor (not mirror display)

Sure, Mance was a cool guy. But his demands were incredibly unreasonable. He thought his people should be allowed to cross the Wall and live in the Seven Kingdoms, without being subject to any of its laws or contributing anything to its defense. Why should the wildlings get to claim land in the Seven Kingdoms, without doing anything to earn it, and then get to live there as free men, exempt from all the laws that every other citizen of the Seven Kingdoms must abide by? He honestly thought they should be allowed to chill out and relax while everyone else in the North fights to defend their territory and quality of life? No Mance you don't get to show up in someone else's country, expect a free ride, and make other people do your fighting while you sit back and enjoy your "freedom". Talk about a sense of entitlement!

yeah one of my favorite things about a song of ice and fire is that most characters are grey, not simply black or white. there’s complexity to everyone. even the mountain… in the books at least it is said he has blinding migraines and is addicted to milk of the poppy and this supposedly causes him to go on killing and r*ping rampages. of course it’s not an excuse but it’s a possible reason. but this reflects how the people in our world are, no one is perfect. also it was illyrio mopatis, the man who owns the manse that tyrion and varys were in, that gave her the dragon eggs!
