Season 1 is great, season 4 is fantastic as well imo. So if you guys enjoy it and want to hit a similar style again some time, don't rule out season 4 (also season 4 is really new, it only came out this year oppose to the first 3 that were 10ish years ago).

I noticed you started this, since I hadn't watched it I went ahead and did just that. I found the acting great but come on...a masterpiece? I'm not sure what everyone else is on about, I'm not trying to be a downer, but that was disappointing.

Agreed. The 2 main actors are fantastic, but, especially the finale, was kinda like eh.

True Detective S1 is 100% an amazing season! Do want to give a massive thumbs up to Season 4 though :) My rankings... Season 1 -> Season 4 --> Season 3 --------------------> Season 2 :)
