Really wasn’t sure how this would translate to reactions; but got say it was a great experience rewatching it and seeing you take it all in. Being able to experience many of my fav film/shows for the 1st time again, vicariously with your personalities, makes your channel so enjoyable. Great reaction!

Was just about to say something similar but not so eloquent haha. Loved the movie when I first saw it, but did not think it would make for a good reaction. Wow was I wrong. This was one of my favorite reactions. Makes me re-think other movies I thought wouldn't make for good reactions. I just love this channel haha

If you guys liked this movie, maybe you could try the Genius: Einstein series from NatGeo. It's not super-duper good, but decent enough for a one-time watch.

I would love to see you guys react to Barbie now that you've done Oppenheimer if you haven't already seen it! A comedy would be a fun change of pace for the movie reactions

PEAKY BLINDERS!!! Can’t wait for that.

S

Right! I think they would really enjoy the humour and it would fit their dynamic well!

Sasha

not the video getting blocked before I can watch it lol

Spartan, you were particularly articulate with your thoughts about such a deep subject matter. I'm actually pretty impressed.

Cillian Murphy was flawless. He deserved every award and recognition he received.

Brilliant movie! A Top 10 of All-Time for me. And the book it’s based on won a Pulitzer Prize. Just so damn good. Glad you liked it.

Tingeling

There is a famous interview clip with the real Oppenheimer, in which he quotes the Bhagavad Gita - ”Now I am become death, the destroyer of worlds”. Which, of course, he also says in the movie. You should check out that interview clip, it’s quite haunting to see the look in his eyes. I am so glad that Nolan finally was acknowledged at the Oscars. Same with Murphy, IIRC he hadn’t even been nominated before; this performance earned him that accolade. He truly carries the whole movie on his shoulders, and he so skillfully portrays Oppenheimer through different stages of his life. When you’re watching ”Peaky Blinders”, take notice of Murphy’s performance between his spoken lines. His character spends much time listening, and you can see the cogs turning in his mind without him having to say a word. That is a powerhouse performance, one that not all actors would be able to pull off.
