Full Length Reaction Guide

We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.  Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.  Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.  Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

  • Use a dual monitor PC setup to watch both screens simultaneously

  • Use the split screen functions on your computer/phone to watch them side by side

  • Chromecast / Screenshare one screen to your TV while watching the other screen on a phone or laptop

  • HDMI your laptop / tablet to the TV and use the TV as a 2nd monitor (not mirror display)

  • Use your Smart TV or Gaming console to play the YouTube reaction and your Phone/Laptop to play the show (or other way around)

To address the elephant in the room: the left wing messaging in this show has always been shallow and annoying, but the plot has been enough to make it worth watching. I'm very happy to see this episode return to some big plot moments and I choose to hope it will be enough to carry us forward, but this show remains on very thin ice for me.

Nice! We're back to the story! There were multiple times they showed a "random" stranger taking selfies with the supes throughout this season. I was wondering what that was about.

2024-07-16 04:45:02 I disagree about Gen V hard lol , the characters in Gen V are pretty bad with maybe the exception of Sam and Cate and yet still they aren’t even in the same universe as characters live Homelander or even Butcher for that matter and the story even with the cringy stuff like last episode is still just better imo like this last episode was great…Maybe the best of the season and certainly better than anything in Gen v.

idk gen v felt more interesting than many of the episodes this season. S1-3 are superior based on their stacked cast and some epic moments and the scale of it all

Agreed🙋🏼‍♀️ I was beginning to fear the GOT curse of ‘spectacle over story’ taking hold. Exploring character arcs is so important, and sometimes it’s difficult to reconnect with the plot when my nervous system is still recovering from something needlessly revolting.

I thought Sam and Cate were well written but I just found the other characters extremely boring especially Marie and im talking mostly in comparison with The Boys which just have way better and more iconic characters like obviously Homelander who’s considered by many at this point as a mount rushmore villain of all time and Butcher who’s a great anti-hero plus the rest of the boys who are just more entertaining by far imo and if you wanna say Gen V has only one season…Every character I named I believe were easily better written and more entertaining in the first season alone but that’s just my opinion tho and also I actually really liked Golden Boy but we know what happened to him lol.
