*Please Read* - HBO Max Syncing issue (Patreon)

Please take the time to carefully read and understand this for future reactions. 

Unfortunately we have come to realise that for some reason, HBO Max to Binge (Australia's equivalent) has slight changes in frame rate / length of scenes which means people have trouble syncing with the uncut reactions. The issue comes from HBO Max using an NTSC (29.97 fps) and Binge using PAL (25 fps) version of the content. The difference is that the PAL versions come out to be ~4% faster.

Now, given that more than 50% of our community is not from US, and the UK and Europe people don't seem to have as much trouble with the syncing as the US folks do, no matter what we do there will be an issue for someone with this particular streaming company.

It also isn't viable for us to use HBO max. Not only will that issue still occur for people out of the US, but as we do not live in the US and don't have access to a residential address or a US card, it creates issues on our end. We would have to borrow someone's account which will cause buffering and quality issues that occur sometimes with a VPN.

The best solution we have for this which will work for most people, but not all is to:

~ Use a google chrome extension that allows you to modify the reaction speed slightly usually between 0.95-0.97x speed which will then let you sync up perfectly to our reactions.

This is the best known work around we have found, and will most likely be necessary for up coming releases like Chernobyl and House of The Dragon. Alternatively there will always be the edited reactions as well, but this should be a quick and simple step to ensure you can access our uncuts.

We can also consider the possibility for some movies/smaller series renting them off another site like google play or YouTube but we are not sure if the Australian websites of these will still have the same issue or not

If we find any better solutions in the future we will consider them but we appreciate your patience and understanding and are always doing whatever we can behind the scenes to make your experience as enjoyable and hassle free as possible. This is as frustrating for us as it is you, but unfortunately all we can do is try and make it work as best as possible.
