August 2023 Status Report (Patreon)

Delayed the status report to focus on fixing problematic bug causing crashes and the other bug fix aspects yesterday.
Also the music change because it seemed fun. :D

My original plan for 25.5 to be a content update definitely got derailed by a number of things, and 2 separate long power outages definitely didn't help (I didn't lose any data, I just couldn't really work), nor did the need for a full new system for multi character CGs to actually work right when I initially expected it to need a few small functions. But for that aspect it won't need to take this much to implement any multi character CGs in the future.
Also after applying the background consistency to the labyrinth, I think it does look pretty nice for flow.
There's also a bunch of QoLs and fixes in that update that were done across the month, which now the to-do list for more immediate QoLs and things is looking very small. So v25.6 should be a proper content update finally. Pretty annoyed this one wasn't to be honest.

The problem there however is that next (technically this) month (September) I will be spending about 2 weeks with family (Actually just two weeks this time.) So it is unlikely I will be able to be fully productive, but I should be able to get an update out at the end of the month regardless of this.

As per usual I will be maintaining contact with artists and commissions to ensure those keep moving along, and am likely to post some art teasers in the work intermission that I've been holding onto? But they will also depend on what I actually work on for the update too. Which I'll figure out and probably start on before I'm lost to fam time.
