Update 27, Changing Plans, And Burnout Avoidance (Patreon)
Content
It's been somewhere around two weeks since my last post, so I feel like I owe you guys a check-in.
After posting the Ironmouse comic, my plan was to take a couple of days to lay around a bit while working on cleaning up my other socials(particularly Pixiv and potentially starting an account on misskey.io), along with setting up new tiers for Patreon, or picking up and moving to Subscribestar, after which I'd start work on the Advent series, leading with a Shiori Novella pic.
What ended up happening was, after using practically every free minute I had during the summer to work on art, I finished my backlog of commissions, and, in the middle of working on censored edits for Pixiv and Misskey, decided to take a break for a day or two; no drawing or sketching, posting on socials, etc. This would be fine, thought, since my SO would be on vacation anyway for a few days, I figured I'd get some Armored Core 6 time in, then just spend the rest of the time working on cleaning up some online stuff and jump into things around the beginning of the following week.
Life had different plans; the vacation my SO was taking fell through almost immediately, and I don't want to annoy anyone with any of my IRL nonsense, so long story short, I needed more time than I thought to take care of other people and get myself back together so I can get back to drawing naked vtubers without just dropping everything and giving up.
TL;DR: Any free time I'd have used to be productive was taken by sudden relationship and social obligations, and that's fine and not at all unfair and I'm not mad about any of it.
With all of that out of the way, the Shiori pic is in progress, and I should have something ready by the end of the week. There won't be anymore commissions for a while, so I can just focus on original stuff without any distractions.
Sorry for the posting gap, as well as the delay in keeping everyone informed. I'm still alive, and still working on stuff. Thank you for your patience and support, and thank you to new patrons as well; I post more often normally, I swear😭
Take care, and I'll have something for you to see soon.
