Nick's new studio apartment at the edge of "Shady Place"

In the script for the new comic there is a small detail that was left undecided. The above image is something I started working on back when I still made the first comic. Al-tough the angle of the skyline of the city might be a bit higher than intended, its a pretty accurate and possible location for Nick's apartment. It's close to the city center and Sahara Square but far away that Nick could probably afford it.

Right at the edge of the Rainforest District there is a mountain-line that seperates it from Sahara Square and Downtown. Along that mountain line lies a series of old buildings, covered with tropical vegetation, not at the degree as in the rainforest district but its a strong indication that you are entering that area.

This was my original idea about where the next comic could take place, but I remained unsure about it. Once, I actually like Judy's old place, the "Grand Pangolin Arms", it's an iconic location and maybe it would be more welcome by you guys than this new location. And maybe Nick interacting with Judy's loud neighbors as a post-credit scene thing could be a fun thing too.

I also am unsure if I should imply enough time passing since they got together. Did enough time went by since the first comic for them to move in with each-other? Should Judy and Nick live together or still have their separate little place?

So, I'm going to leave it up to you guys, I'm leaving the 4 options below, 1 choice only. Vote ends by the ends this Sunday.

I realy like the idea of Judy's old apartment and the end credit scene, but I would prefer them living together and that kinda make the new place a better option. I love the design of the new place, especially the interior, but I have the say the exterior makes the place look like one home instead of like an apartment. Side from that I love the design, and hope to see it used

I'm feeling the same way, which is why I was so torn. While I love Judy's old apartment, its really not a place spacious enough that I could see them live there. As for the outside, the design is a bit misleading, but it is a 5 story building. with at least 6 apartments like Nick's per level.

I love how you conceptualize their/her home into the city and describe the location in detail, makes it feel like a real place in the city. Very immerssive =)

I like the apartment. I have this idea that Nick might help Judy finding a better place to live after she comes back to the city after the case. Since he knows everybody he will find a good deal for her/them easily :3
