Breathing in deeply I smiled even as I stared at the ceiling.

‘ I'm probably gonna die if I don't obtain as much power as I can as soon as possible.’ I thought thinking of whether to go to my father's personal library as soon as possible or tommorow.

I of course decided to go tommorow, it was already about to be night time as the Red Sun of our realm was dipping into the mountains already.

But with that said I could finally create systems now.

With my Awakening I have also awakened the ability to create systems and grow stronger through it.

Two simple functions, connected through my soul... probably.

Clicking on the system creation option I was then brought to a new section.

Here I could click on the amount of system ingredients I wanted to use and transfer them there, then I could specify what each ingredient would help out in doing through the system or let the function randomise depending on the item used.

You could put any amount of ingredients into the system function but the more you put, the better.

So I opened my drawer and took out a condom.

Putting the condom into the system ingredient page I then clicked on ‘Create System’.

This took a quarter of my energy reserves though as all systems needed the energy to power themselves up and shape their functions and capabilities in their creation.

And it was done, the system was in the shape of a pink crystal, and vaguely inside you could see the shape of a worm.

‘ Now if I'm right then I can just...’ and with that thought I broke the crystal settinithe system free.

As soon as the worm was broken out if it's captivity it vanished.

‘ Huh...that's neat.’ I thought.

What I had just done was set the system I had created free, thus they became a rogue system as I hadn't bonded them to myself yet.

Rogue systems were systems that were set free from the control of their creators or owners, these systems would then gain the capabilities to jump through barriers without the aid of their creators.

They would immediately go to the lower realms and latch on to any unsuspecting mortal that they deem fit and start growing in power.

What this would allow is that as their hosts grew in power and completed quests set up by the system or created events that co-aligned with the systems concept then they would be able to collect ‘Concept Energy’ that they would then use to grow stronger, gaining new functions or capabilities before moving on to the next host.

They were practically parasites in a way.

‘ I wonder how far that system could grow in this vast world....’ I wondered as I lay back on my back and stared at the ceiling.

Then I closed my eyes and went to sleep, a bit excited and fearful for tommorow.

In a rundown building just at the outskirts of new sat a man who looked at the ceiling in a daze, this man was Robert Kuck and he was having a really bad day.

Not only was Robert unemployed but he was also about to get evicted out of the only thing he had close to a home.

At the prospect of getting superpowers Robert immediately focused on the weird screen infront of him.

‘ Powers?... really?’ He wondered with a grin, he didn't know whether this was a dream, hallucination or anything but he did know that he wanted this all to be true as unlikely as that would be.

‘ Okay...let's get to the powers already!’ Impatiently thought Robert not willing to let such an opportunity pass by even if it would last for a bit before his hallucination ended.
