After many tedious months in Atlantica's prison, a newly freed Marina Del Rey finds a lone sailor on the surface world to "flirt" with.

I didn't actually know this character existed until this year, she's the villain of the Little Mermaid prequel called Ariel's Beginning.
What I find most interesting is that she's obviously originally meant to be a pre-octopus Ursula (the hair, makeup, fashion sense, personality, eel minions etc), but they probably changed their mind during production and made her a separate character.
I don't mind, I prefer her and Ursula as separate characters, and it's given us a sassy mature mermaid to enjoy. lol
