Hello, guys! Here’s another guest post, this time a game from Tiny Devil studio. You can check the art in the upper part of the post to get the hang of how the game looks like. There’s also a free version on the main page of the developer if you’ll decide to give it a spin.

Monster Girl Hunt looks and plays like an H adaptation of the classic Pokemon series. If you played one of these games earlier, you’ll definitely see the familiar elements. The control scheme is the usual one with keyboard moving and point-and-click elements added into the mix.

The game starts off with some trouble with your step sister and getting the first monster girl – a cowgirl. After this, you’ll need to proceed with the usual game plan of Pokemon series. Get into bushes to fight and catch new monster girls, challenge other “trainers” then proceed to new locations with different monster girls and duels.

The combat is turn-based and most of the type will be triggered as random encounters in the “bushes” with wild monster girls or duels with other characters. Each turn you’ll pick an action and see how it plays out. After getting some damage combatants sprite will change to more revealing versions up to complete nudeness.

Some events have animated graphics. As far as I got, these are simple frame swaps, not real full-time animations with per-frame approach, but these still can be interesting for the fans of animated CG. The art style is cartoonish rather than anime-like. The game also features a gallery where you can check out everything you unlocked so far, including the damaged art for your monster girls.

Monster Girl Hunt features a rather simple game loop with familiar mechanics and will suit fans of Pokemon series. The same goes for fans of gameplay and not the story. The game features a journal with all the information you’ll need to proceed with the plot. So, you can safely skip the dialogues if you hate reading.

As for the cons, to be honest, I’m not a fan of Pokemon series and anything alike, so I think I’m biased on this front. I always preferred games with stories to follow and interesting characters more than grindy action. Still, this can be your cup of tea if you are looking for cartoonish graphics, monster girls and easy-to-understand gameplay mixed with H elements.
