The prototyping stage is almost over and I think Gai Noob will start the first animation attempt during the next week. Depending on results, this either will result in Phase III or most likely will uncover some hidden troubles which we’ll need to solve before streamlining animated H scenes.

Other artists are completing last H scenes for Yorna and will join shortly. I plan to do 2 animated scenes per update for initial content packs since I’ll need extra materials like character sprites for dialogue events, logos, headers, etc. If all goes well, we’ll be able to shift into 3 scenes per update quota.

From the technical point of view, the hacking minigame is done in a barebones version yet I need to fix the function which generates ”noise” in the upper “code" window. Sometimes it returns undefined as a result and this clearly indicates trouble. Don’t want to hope that it won’t affect the game.

Also, I started to adapt gallery logic for animated scenes. Yorna has 2 playback options for H content: full scene play and a simple slideshow for players who don’t want to see text. I want to use the same approach for the new project. Instead of slideshow, players will be able to switch between the scene’s animations.

As for Yorna itself, I made the requested feature for the mobile version. From this update, you’ll be able to hide and show Ada’s ”on-map” sprite via a button. It follows the same logic as desktop Q button. Though a bit of testing is in order to confirm the hitbox and rapid press logic.
