Hello.
I suppose you always need to look for a silver lining in everything.
While I was working on trying to fix a broken release I accidentally stumbled on a new way of cropping the background out of images.

While playing the sequel(or the original game - it's more apparent there), sometimes you can notice a grey outline on some images. You can see some examples above with various backgrounds.
It's blurry and made in a way that wouldn't be too noticeable, but it's there, and sometimes it doesn't look right.

Now, obviously it's not like new outline is perfect, there's still some defects visible here and there, but it feels more suited towards the game that doesn't have backgrounds during most in-game events.

Though the only question that matters is - is it worth it to re-do almost a thousand images in a new, slightly better(at least in my opinion) way?

This post is not a poll, just food for thought, since there's no time for something like this currently. What is your opinion on the image outline?

See you on Sunday, or on Monday with 0.45 release.

Never noticed the outline before, so I say leave it be.

I usually try to match it with the background color to make it less noticeable. But yeah, I guess the benefit of something like that is too small to spend all that time remaking a huge amount of images.
