Slightly More Positive Update (Patreon)

Just following up on the things I said yesterday, but I think writing out that comedic story pitch helped clear up a lot of my funk. It led me to reaching 3k words for the first time in a couple of weeks now I think and I'm already on the way to 4k+. 1.5k of that is the pitch, the rest is Clouded Soul 25 which should be done soon.

I think the takeaway here is very obvious in that I really did need something more fun to balance out CS's more seriousness, so I'm thinking I will keep developing that story idea in the background. Write up more ideas and character profiles, maybe design some of the girls I had in mind in Koikatsu.

There's still the possibility that I'm mistaken and I just had a 'good' day today, but I don't think that's the case as CS 25 is dark as fuck and I'm not getting bogged down by it at all. Will be very glad if this was indeed exactly what I needed and it pulls me out of the funk. Since CS chapters are short, I can easily juggle doing something simpler on the side if it keeps helping. We'll see.
