Liriene Cardaign

21, human female, chroma crystal shop owner and ponder streamer

Appearance- Liriene is a young woman of short stature, standing at only five foot two. She has a plain, round face with lots of freckles, dull, bluish gray eyes, thick eyebrows, and two large buck teeth. She is not ever described as ugly, merely cute in a nerdy way. She has black, medium length hair that she wears in two pigtails held up by scrunchies. Liri is almost never seen without her pair of gigantic circular glasses.

Her figure is somewhat pear-shaped, with a big ass, slight chubby stomach, and no thigh gap. She has large D cup breasts and a meaty, hairless pussy. She keeps it that way with her magic and there's never any stubble.

Liri's attire is always casual, wearing fantasy equivalents of hoodies, sweatshirts, sweatpants, and typical things like that which usually obscure her figure. Her shirts almost always have some sort of nerdy design on them relating to her numerous hobbies. She usually carries a small purse strapped to her waist and wears plain boots on most days.

In contrast to her plainness, Liri's streaming alter ego is immensely bright and colorful. She has predominantly pink hair with two gigantic twintails. Her hair fades into a pastel blue gradient the further down you go. Her magic gets rid of her buck teeth, freckles, and other little imperfections in this form. The main theme of her costumes is always sparkling jewels and rhinestones. Her eye color changes as well but I'm undecided currently on what(leaning towards rainbow but I need to see how it looks in the art) and her pupils turn into hearts. Most of her outfits are white with pink accents. She wears pastel blue lipstick and eyeshadow and carries a wand that looks like a pretty princess scepter.

Personality- chill, playful, free-spirited, nerdy, enthusiastic

Abilities- Liri is a low level mage. She is adept at bodily transfiguration magic as well as cosmetic magic. On top of that, she knows many convenient spells which make her day to day life easier. Things like doing her hair, washing clothes, housework spells, and so on. Though not an otherwise accomplished alchemist, she is exceptionally skilled at manufacturing chroma crystals, having been taught in the art from a young age. Liri has almost no offensive capabilities but during her school days, dueling was a mandatory thing for all students and she surprisingly did not have a terrible record thanks to her quick thinking and creativity. Someone can throw fireballs at you all day, but if you make their hair grow and strangle them with it that'll stop them from casting spells real fast.

Motivation- Liri primarily wants to have an enjoyable life and keep her family's shop afloat. After discovering ponder, she gained a side goal of becoming a popular streamer. She likes being seen as attractive and it makes her feel empowered to be lusted after seeing as how she is in reality a very plain person. It starts off as a pipedream but as she becomes entangled with Leo, she starts chasing after it more. She actively wants to be part of a harem, as it's a status thing not usually afforded to plain looking girls like herself. Being with a guy capable of handling that really attracts her.

Interests- Liri has very wide interests. She is a fan of RealMonster cards, as well as just about every other product made by the dwarven company Wizards of the Workshop. These include many tabletop RPG's and other more niche card games that aren't as big as RealMonster. She likes pulpy adventure books based off of famous adventurers licensed by the Association and can recite lines by heart. None of them are very good, but she openly acknowledges that and likes them for the cheap thrill. Speaking of thrill, Liri is very sexual and has always been as such ever since puberty. She likes reading erotic fantasy as well and long before she ever started streaming she watched hundreds of hours of lewd content on ponder. Lastly, she is very creative and enjoys painting clothes with the chroma crystals she makes, as well as the process of making chroma crystals itself.

History- Liri is the daughter of two mages who ran a chroma crystal shop in Grimme's Grotto by the name of Crystal Clear. She had a very middle-class upbringing. They were never poor but they weren't overly wealthy, either. Her home life was stable and her parents are loving and supportive to this day, and they still would be if they knew about her night job.

From the age of 11 to 18, Liri attended Wiggledorpen's School for the Magically Gifted as is the law for any magically inclined child born in Grimme's Grotto. The running theme of her life here is that it was average. She didn't excel in her studies nor in practical application of magic. Despite that, she was relatively well-liked among her peers and still has friends in the district to this day that she went to school with and who she routinely plays nerdy games with. The only person she didn't get along with in school was Sylvietta Palemist, who because of their mutually low grades and magical ability she was often partnered up with. Sylvietta is a very prickly person and their rivalry is entirely one-sided. On the contrary, Liri tried very hard to be friends with her as Sylvietta was a complete loner which you really wouldn't expect from young noblewoman like herself. One of Liri's only regrets during her school years is that she was never able to reach out to her.

Upon her graduation, Liri was met with a harsh realization. Her parents planned on closing the shop and setting up a new one downriver in Perlshaw. Chroma crystal specialty shops aren't doing very well these days and a bunch of other ones in Grimme's Grotto have all shut down due to the spread of big business- specifically Molligale's Emporium- who sell inferior and cheaper product at lower prices. Given that the shop was also the house she grew up in, Liri didn't want to leave all those memories behind and convinced her parents to let her try running it on her own. They reluctantly agreed because of how much they loved their daughter and to their surprise she's been doing relatively all right for herself. Liri isn't making tons of money or anything, but she's supplemented the store by offering additional services that weren't a thing before she took control. She offers custom chroma crystal jobs on clothing, weapons, armor and the like. Want a cool graphic added to your medieval tunic? Crystal Clear is your place to be. Sometimes Liri buys up a bunch of cheap clothes and then opens up a stall in Sere's Abundance to redirect people to her main shop.

Her business only makes enough to make ends meet, however, and Liri is a girl with many hobbies and interests. She needed additional income and she found a way to do it while scratching another itch. Her parents got her a newer generation crystal ball has her graduation present since she'd been wanting one ever since they came out with the orbnet models, and although Liri is a seemingly plain person, she has always had a ridiculously huge libido and a sizable interest in sex. When she saw all these pretty witches making gold by masturbating on camera and talking to the audience, she thought it was very exciting and definitely something she was interested in doing.

She started streaming two years into running the store and has been making a decent amount of supplemental income every month. More so than the money she was making, there were two major people she met in this period of her life that became very important to her- and Liri doesn't know that they're the same person.

On one hand, there is LowbornKing. He was there since her very first stream and has always been incredibly kind, respectful and financially generous to her. They became friends even outside of streaming, sending each other DM's on ponder and chatting. They become so close that she offers him private sessions, which she doesn't do for anyone else. He's distant and doesn't talk about himself very much, but when he does, it always troubles Liri and activates some sort of older sister instinct in her... which wouldn't you know it is something that the other person invokes in her as well.

Leo Lowlion is an adventurer famed for his ability to get you whatever you want remarkably fast. Materials were scarce for a while and her typical suppliers couldn't get them to her, so she turned to the Adventurer's Guild for help and Leo was the one who took her quest. They really hit it off when he came to drop by her materials and because of the shortage she kept making use of his services- now explicitly stating in her quests that Leo is the one she wants. After a while, the material shortage cleared up but she never told him and even though he costs more than her typical suppliers she's been routinely using Leo ever since, and he often hangs out at her shop for a few hours after work.

They get along really good, even if he's an awkward and distant person. She's put in the work to try and make him lighten up a little and has even introduced him to new hobbies like RealMonster and reading those adventure books she likes, but he's still cold and never really talks about himself very much. Liri is not dense to the similarities between Leo and LowbornKing, she just thinks she has a type- that being dumb sad boys who need to be doted on. In the very back of her mind she wished that Leo and LowbornKing were the same person but dismissed that as a possibility even though LowbornKing's profile states he's from Imperalis, but she knows he's not a mage so she doesn't think it's possible.

For a while, she was waiting on one of them to make the first move. The most infuriating part of her relationship with both of them is that they both constantly put down her very blatant attempts at flirting. She's not desperate, just persistent and Leo's self-worth issues constantly make him uncomfortable in such situations. It's better on streams given that he talks sexually with her, but her 'flirting' is more along the lines of trying to get to know about his personal life.

The first story arc will be about Leo and Liri getting together after he solves some of his issues and ultimately learning the truth about each other at the end of their first date. Liri could not be happier about the revelation, but they have a lot more to work through after that, and he of course becomes entangled in the world of streaming himself.

Streaming Persona- ChrissiCrystal, called CC for short

Liri's alternate persona is everything that she's not. Bubbly, overly cutesy, slutty, and extremely colorful. She likes getting to role-play as a bit of a naughty brat, and like everyone in the series she is a huge exhibitionist. Above all, the reason she chose this specific gimmick is that she's just a plain girl who while comfortable in her own skin likes to feel pretty and wanted in a safe, anonymous environment. Her streams are very vanilla at the start of the story. She does not use penetrative toys because she's saving herself, but uses vibrating wands and other toys.
