Good News, Bad News (Patreon)

Good news is outline for vol 6 should be done soon. Bad news is art acquisition might slow down. A friend who was behind my big expansion lately has pulled out support and without getting into all the emotional junk it's put me through I'm not doing great.

I'll still be getting a fair amount of art, but I basically had to scrap a lot of the bigger plans I had behind the scenes that I haven't really talked about yet. The constant stream of art made it gave me so much promotional material to share that I made $1400 on amazon last month largely because of the art I was posting (400 new book release). Things were looking up and I was led to believe this support would keep on going and its not going great, feeling strung along and like my trust was severely damaged.

I'm both mad and not mad at the individual for stringing me along. It's complicated. All I know is that after the amazing, hopeful month I had things are going back to looking bleak again. I'm probably being hyperbolic because all this is recent happenings, but yeah. Not a great start to new years.

Doesn't help that patreon is declining and I had my first sub 300 month in ages. If anyone wants me to continue the art like it's been, I really need more support than that. I know a few people here often like to chip in to that kind of thing so if you ever want to help me out and donate a little, feel free to contact me.

Kind of scared about the audiobook too now but I'll find a way to make it happen. Should be doable since she'll let me pay chapter by chapter.
