In the last document I detailed how GM’s new powers could be broken down into three categories. Development, Comfort, and Guidance. It turns out Development is the hardest one to think of ideas for, since I don’t want him to have hundreds of shortcuts to make the girls stronger and I don’t want to minimize the actual training they have to do. I considered a slowdown time chamber and a way to manifest the girl’s trauma, but both were scrapped very quickly because they would trivialize the hard work and personal growth.

I’m considering merging the Development and Guidance trees since I need a lot more material than I have to make a third tree work. These are the only two I could think of, the second one being someone in discord’s idea;

Positive Reinforcement. GM can propose a reward to one girl at a time in exchange for her vowing to make significant progress by a specific amount of time. Has to be something tangible, learning an Art or spell or mastering an artifact or something. This is a magical pact, and it will influence the girl’s mood to become more focused on accomplishing the goal. If the goal is not met, the pact demands a punishment.

Training dummy. GM can create a magical construct to his specifications which can mimic the power and abilities of any foe he’s witnessed. Girls can feel pain from it, but it isn’t real and can be turned off. After acquiring the skill it has to be placed somewhere, and it can’t leave that general area. It can be automated to follow specific commands or manually controlled by the GM.

If anyone has any ideas please share them, this is halting progress on the outline for RotGM vol 1. No guarantee I’ll use them but might get the brain flowing.

With development, you could have him able to allow the girls to enter scenarios to practice their skills. As his ability grows, the scenarios would be able to be more complex and detailed. Kind of like instances in MMOs.
