"AH! First my clothes, and now THIS?!" Suzette shouted far off in the distance, jolting Coye straight out of his slumber and into the waking world in as rough a way as possible.

With practiced precision brought out by years of thorough survival training, Coye leaped out of bed, ready to kick some ass if there was an ass that needed to be kicked. He threw the blanket off his nude body behind him like a billowing cape, ready to respond to any signs of danger and protect Suzette at any cost.

Coye looked at his surroundings, finding them strange. He forgot where he was for a moment in his tiredness, and even more concerningly, he failed to find his sword. Then, he recalled he had slept over at his new lover's house and that his finicky weapon was back at the Guild.

He clicked his tongue at his own stupidity. It didn't matter if he was going out on errands or picking up chicks. He should never have left it at home. Coye could practically feel his father's disappointment that he would make such a simple mistake.

His eyes caught sight of his cap over on top of Suzette's wardrobe as it started twitching with movement, its occupant rousing from sleep thanks to all the commotion.

"Mmngh..." Shayla poked her head out from under the brim, rubbing her eyes. Just at a glance, Coye could tell that she looked a little woozy. "What's going on?"

"Suzette's in trouble," he answered with a grumble, still beating himself up over his sword.

Like any other turtle would, Shayla withdrew back inside her shell after dismissing him with a wave of her hand. "...Right, right. That makes sense. You go and deal with that, baby, I've got some... urgh- personal buh... business to attend... to..."

"Alright," Coye turned away to leave in a hurry, but he was stopped short by a follow-up question.

"Oh, hey- real quick. Do humans eat rats?"

"...I mean not usually, but-"

"Cool, just checking. Go do your thi- URGH-"

Coye heard the sound of retching coming from under his cap, a noise which wasn't pleasant and that he preferred would've come from anywhere else.

Although momentarily distracted by whatever the heck was going on with his partner, there were much more pressing matters he had to deal with. Shayla wasn't going anywhere, so he darted off into the living room buck naked- flopping femboy appendages and all.

Coye performed an expert dodge roll on the way to the storefront, somehow yanking his underwear from the coffee table and equipping it during the action in only seconds flat.

He reached the front of the building, shouting, "Suzette?!" at the top of his lungs as he barged in.

Coye found her taking stock of a particular shelf that looked like a whirlwind swept through it sometime during the night. It was in ruins, with emptied containers thrown around the place and half-eaten candies scattered on the floor.

What struck him as odd was that there were no signs of a break-in. The door wasn't damaged, there were no windows smashed, and there weren't any apparent footprints as far as he could tell. Someone could've picked the lock, Coye supposed, but he assumed they would have stolen more than candy if that were the case.

At least Suzette didn't appear to be hurt or in any danger. She seemed slightly miffed at worst, but the widow took on a beautiful smile as soon as she saw the boy in practically all of his morning glory.

"Darling, good morning! Oh, I didn't wake you just now, did I...?" She greeted him, sheepishly toying with her hair out of worry.

There was something different about Suzette that he hadn't noticed at first due to focusing solely on the situation, but now that it settled, the realization hit Coye hard. She was wearing clothes totally unlike anything he'd ever seen her wear before.

Suzette had on a short black skirt, dark stockings, and an open-backed purple sweater with no sleeves. The boy gulped and tried not to stare, but it was hard not to. She didn't just look good; Suzette looked really good.

"Yeah, you did... but... um, don't worry about it." Coye snapped out of fight mode and settled back into his typical embarrassed self. "I was just worried that something happened, or something..."

Peeling her eyes forcibly away from Coye's feminine form, Suzette sighed. "Well, a couple of things happened, actually... I'm not sure how to go about saying this, but..."

"What is it?" Coye felt anxious over the way she talked about the problem. It sounded bad, and he stepped forward to support her if need be.

"Someone went through my things at night and got up to all sorts of mischief," she said.

Coye didn't like where this was heading. He didn't immediately assume who the culprit was, as she deserved the benefit of the doubt, but he already felt he knew exactly what happened.

"Er- mischief, you say...?"

"As far as I can tell, yes. My dresses had their necklines altered, some of my old clothes were replaced with all sorts of things, and my underwear drawer was... well, suffice to say I have a lot more variety now." Suzette blushed, pushing down the embarrassment she felt upon seeing some of those daring panties.

Damn it, that sounds exactly like the kind of thing she would do... Coye thought to himself as he struggled to remain poker-faced and not seem complicit by association.

"Was that all that-" he paused, coughed to cover up the fact that he was about to say 'she' and continued with, "they did?"

"I haven't checked the rest of the house in much detail yet, but as you can see, the uninvited guest helped themselves to almost the entire row of candy." Suzette sighed, glancing over at all of her lost profits with disdain.

His expression grew distant when he remembered that Shayla had been on the verge of throwing up moments before he rushed out of the bedroom. "I see," he said from miles away.

Suzette idled in confusion and played with her hair, saying, "Honestly, I don't know what to do. Are there any monsters you know of that break into people's houses without leaving any evidence, steal their food, and leave a trail of lingerie in their wake?"

Pixies, he thought. "N-No, that... um... doesn't sound normal to me. Ah! Maybe it was a gift from the Goddess Above!"

The older woman brought her hand to her lips and laughed, "Darling, I'm not what you'd call a scholar of the Good Book, and I don't make it to church as often as I should, but I'm fairly sure I don't recall ever hearing that the great Lux Ultima has a sweet-tooth."

"Right..." Coye nodded, feeling like a fool.

He wished he was better at coming up with bullshit at the drop of a hat, but that was the domain of a certain person he hoped was paying the price for what she did.

Speaking of price, Coye knew that responsibility fell on him to be accountable for his partner's actions.

"So, um... how much gold will it cost you to restock all of that candy...?" He grimaced, thinking it was a good thing he felt like getting off his ass and working again.

"Hmm... that depends..." Suzette tilted her head, leaving him on a long and uncomfortable pause. "Do you think these clothes look good on me, Darling?"

"Uh- what?"

"Humor me,"

Coye looked closer at the woman and saw she had an interesting-looking smile on her face. It was playful and coy simultaneously, and she waited for him to answer.

"Yeah. Of course, they do. You look beautiful today Mrs... er- S-Suzette..."

"Alright, good, good..." Suzette nodded her head and brushed off the compliment. "How about these, then?" Her smile became downright devilish, her cheeks flushing as she pulled up the hem of her skirt to reveal a lacy black thong that barely covered the fat lips of her pale pubic mound.

Coye stared with widened eyes as he hunched over, his body reacting and his hands covering his thing before it grew out of control. "T-That's...! I-I can't-" he stuttered over his words, not expecting such a sudden assault on his senses.

Suzette let the skirt drop to cover up her intimate apparel, all while giggling at the reaction that somehow managed to be even cuter than she was hoping it would be. "Mm, that's what I thought... it seems to me like I got quite a lot out of our mysterious guest and that I should be thankful, shouldn't I? I'd always meant to pick up some underwear like these, but... It would be so embarrassing to be seen shopping for things like these, wouldn't it?"

"...Yup," nodding his head at anything Suzette said while only half-listening, Coye bit his lip and played along.

"Then again," she brought her pointer finger to her lip. "I might not mind if you went with me sometime in the future so you could show me what sort of things you like..."

As unprepared as he was for early morning teasing, Coye didn't find the attention enjoyable at the moment, thanks to Shayla's antics still weighing on his mind. He looked Suzette right in the eyes, determined to brush her off as he asked, "Can we back up for a second? You're, um, really not mad about this...?"

Suzette seemed momentarily dejected that Coye ignored the teasing but responded to him anyway. "...No, not really. Surprised, yes. Mad? No. I'm sure whoever went and ate so much of my goods must have been awfully hungry... and they did leave me payment, even if it came in an unconventional form. As a merchant, that's good enough for me. I'll overlook it just this once."

This didn't seem like the kind of thing that most people could just sweep under the rug, Coye thought, but it wouldn't make sense for him to go and draw attention to how weird it was.

"If it happens again, though... then I might need to make use of your 'services,' my little adventurer..." She giggled and gave him a hungry glare with her golden eyes. "You'll have to stay the night and watch out for any Goblins, Trolls, or Pixies who might try to sneak in when no one's looking."

His heart raced Suzette's usage of the p-word, but he knew she was just messing with him. It seemed that Suzette was enjoying the dynamics of their new relationship, and it relieved Coye a little to see her so bright and merry.

Then, her expression soured. "Oh, I'm so sorry, Darling. I forgot that a Pixie did such terrible things to you... I shouldn't have said that..."

"What?" Coye blinked, then remembered the lie he had told yesterday. "O-Oh, yeah. No, um... y-you're good... that doesn't matter to me anymore."

Suzette narrowed her eyes, "I see... how fortunate you were able to move past your trauma with such ease."

"Uh..." Coye felt there might've been an air of skepticism in her words, but it didn't register fully, and he instead got caught up in looking at Suzette as his anxiety cleared. It was so surreal, remembering that he had sex with this beautiful woman the night before.

Surreal, but pleasant.

Suzette snapped him out of his reminiscing reverie by pulling him back into the moment. "Darling, I wouldn't mind it if you wanted to stand around in your underpants all morning, but I'm afraid I've got to get the shop opened within an hour or two, so you must wrap it up. Why don't you get dressed for the day while I whip us up something for breakfast? We'll have a little talk then and see how you're doing."

Blushing and looking down at his underpants, his nervousness returned as quickly as it left him. Then, he darted to the door leading to Suzette's house and hid behind it. "Y-Yeah, that sounds amazing, um... I'll go and, uh, do the things you said..."

Suzette watched him go, staring at his shapely rear and laughing as Coye left her sight. That boy was just too cute for her, secrets and all.

Coye stopped and dressed in the living room on his way back to the bedroom. He pulled on his tunic, stepped into his pants, fastened his belt, and donned his socks before marching off to confront the mischievous Fae sleeping under his cap.

He shut the door behind him so that Suzette wouldn't overhear anything and locked it before yanking the hat off the wardrobe without a word of warning.

"Shayla, you up?" He asked, trying his best yet failing miserably at sounding stern.

Shayla emerged from under a blue blanket and rubbed a trickle of shiny drool from her chin. "Ughhh... I sure as heck don't wanna be, but yeah..."

Coye frowned at her and folded his arms. "I hope you know I don't feel any sympathy for you. You deserve this after eating all of Suzette's candy and everything else you did!"

"Woah, are you actually angry?" Shayla blinked after rubbing the sleep from her eyes.

"M-Maybe a little... er- I mean, yes. Yes, I'm very mad!"

"You're really bad at being mad, then," she raised an eyebrow and snorted at him.

"I know..." Coye hung his head in resignation.

Stretching out slow and carefully so to not agitate her tummy, Shayla yawned. "A girl's gotta eat, you know. It's not like I could've woken one of you up and asked you to make me a tiny sandwich, right?"

"I... I guess not, but... you still deserve this for stealing so much!"

Shayla smirked, "So you're saying it would've been fine if I stole less?"

"Yes!" He said, paused, and reconsidered. "No? Um, I... I don't know...! Look, instead of stealing, why don't you just use your magic to make a compartment in my hat, and we can keep food up there for you? Either way, you can't steal anymore because stealing is, um... well, it's bad."

Silence filled the room, followed by another mocking snort.

"You're sooooo convincing, wow. You know, thanks to you... I think I've really gone and learned the error of my ways, I- HURK-" Shayla played up her body language as she mocked him, only for the sudden jostling to send her aching stomach into open revolt once again.

She struggled but ultimately announced, "W-We're good... false alarm..."

He continued to scowl at her, but he didn't look that mad. Coye didn't have the face for it and only looked like a pouty child, which amused the Pixie further.

Still, Shayla knew she had to concede at some point.

Letting out a sigh, Shayla shook her head. "Alright, alright... fine, I won't steal again."

"You really mean it?"

"Yeah, yeah... It's just that I was bored as hell last night, so I went off to amuse myself and... you know how it is."

"N-No, I don't. I've never gone off and stole stuff just because I was bored..." Coye frowned and looked at his feet.

"Well, whatever. It was one hell of a night. Somewhere along the way, I ended up having a mini-adventure filled with poignant self-discovery, as we Fairies are known to do. By the end of it all, I was hungry as hell, and my dark side got the better of me, ok?"

Coye listened to her winded explanation, but for as much as she spoke, he noticed that she left out a crucial part of her apology- the part where she actually apologized.

"Say you're sorry," he told her.

She clicked her tongue, irritated at having been caught. "Fine, fine... I'm sorry. There, I said the thing. Are you happy now?"

"Mostly," Coye nodded but refused to let her off the hook. "But I need to know why you, um... why the heck did you go through all of Suzette's clothes and transform them, though...?"

Shayla dismissed him with a wave of her hand. "Because she needed some new digs. Trust me, you'd thank me if you saw what I saw... though once you see the kind of stuff I made for her, you might thank me even more."

Coye turned bright red, drawing Shayla to raise her eyebrow and give the boy a pervy grin. "Oh? Did you already happen upon my handiwork somehow, baby?"

"Perhaps," he coughed out, averting his eyes.

"Jealous? I could make you some cute undies too, baby... which would you prefer, laces or fishnet?"

"W-What?! N-N-Neither!" The suggestion offended him, for the most part, but Shayla resolved to keep chipping at this wall until it came tumbling down. "A-Anyway, that's not important. You were the one who told me we can't risk anyone finding out about you, so why did you go and do something so crazy?"

Shayla thought about this for a moment before hanging her head in a rare display of embarrassment. "Because I have little to no control over my impulses, and I was bored?"

"That's-" Coye stopped, then realized she just told the truth. "Well, ok then... b-but you're super lucky she's not too bothered by it. This could've gone way worse if Suzette had her place inspected."

"You mean like if she hired an adventurer to try and find out who did it? She'd probably go to you in that case, and you could just cover me, and-"

"Shayla," Coye said in a deep and concerned tone, shocking the Pixie a little when she heard it. "Please, stop for a second with the excuses. You said that you'd be in danger if people knew about you, and that's all that matters to me. I... I don't want you to have to leave."

"...Coye?" Shayla called out to him, looking into his face and seeing the despair.

He tried to act tough and make a serious expression, but he was betrayed by his quivering lip and upturned eyebrows. "I know we've only been together for a few days, but-"

She felt her heart sink into the floor. At this rate, Shayla was gonna make him cry, and she couldn't live with that. "Aw, geez... hey, hey, hey! It's ok, big guy."

She stood up and smiled at him as gently as possible, then held out her hand. Confused, Coye took it between his thumb and forefinger, and in response, she placed her opposite hand over the top of his finger.

"I didn't mean to upset you, so relax. I'm not going to go off on my own at night anymore. Once was enough."

"Really?" Coye was surprised to hear this, especially since it didn't sound like one of her tricks.

"Yeah, I had a pretty shitty night last night, actually... you could say I learned the hard way that I can't just fuck off without you." Shayla blushed as she remembered her own stupidity but did not elaborate further.

"...Alright, good." The sincerity Shayla showed was enough for Coye to believe her words, bringing him a wide smile.

"Ehehe..." Shayla scratched behind her ear, still not any better at dealing with emotions. Although happy to have gotten this off her chest and convinced Coye, she was eager to scoot things along. "Anyway, that's enough out of me... are you ready to head back to the Guild and get to work today, or what?"

"Actually, yeah. Suzette's making breakfast, though, so I'm gonna grab some of that first before we head back."

"Oh, is that so? Sounds nice, having an older woman at your beck and call to feed you whenever you want..."

"I-It's not like that! She offered, and I didn't wanna turn her down..."

"Chill, baby. Just let the lady do nice things for you, and I guarantee you'll feel much happier about it than if you keep worrying your pretty little head off."

Coye took a deep breath and nodded his head to her advice, "Alright... you're right, thanks."

"Course. That being said... what are we having? It smells awesome!" Shayla sniffed at the air and licked her lips, only for Coye to lean down and give her some stink-eye.

"You're not having anything. Not with that stomach of yours."

"Eh, it was worth a try," Shayla nodded and rubbed her stomach. Although it was doing much better than during the middle of the night, it remained sensitive, and she jostled it too hard while rubbing, feeling a resurgence of pain. "Oof, still not doing great... gonna have to try not to throw up all over your hair today."

"Please, don't..." Coye sighed as the Pixie slipped in under his hat and waited for him to wear it.

"We should be fine as long as you don't go using Quick Step on me," she teased.

"Maybe I should leave you home today, after all..." he teased her back a little for once, enjoying how it made him feel.

Shayla just about had a fit at that, but Coye laughed through it as he left the bedroom to use the restroom, finish up his morning routine and join Suzette in the wonderful-smelling kitchen.
