I forgot to post this last night. Breath it in folks, I'm almost halfway done with the lineart for ch. 3! Things are going extremely fast this time if you didn't notice.

The reason I'm doing so fast is that- and you guys might have noticed this- but I'm not really sketching these pages. Hence why I haven't had any Layouts to show you.

Some of you know this by now, but in case you don't I draw using 3D references I create in a program called DesignDoll.

Lets use a panel from the upcoming page 11 to explain!

Using custom models for the chars and the BG that are created by me and my 3D modelers, Trueblackeye and more recently Urban, I render the page.

Until this chapter I sketched the entire chars and background over the models... starting with Ch. 3 though I've decided to only do extremely loose sketches.

That's it. That's literally all I did for the sketch. But since I have so much drawing experience, I'm able to render the chars perfectly like this.

Ultimately I made this decision at a bit of a trade off. I know you guys like to see my layouts, and that it's part of the whole Patreon experience to see the initial sketches... but if by sacrificing the initial sketches and not showing you guys, I'm able to draw the pages EXPONENTIALLY faster.

Instead of asking your guy's opinion on making this switch, I made the executive decision to just up and do this. Now that someone else is doing the colors sketching became the most time-consuming part of the process- and now I've scratched that off the list too!

Without sketching and coloring, I don't think any time consuming parts of my process are left in all honesty. Modeling the pages is super fast. Lineart is where I typically shine and work the fastest. Scripting/Page composition is also very fast and the probably the most fun part for me.

So barring anything that might not be crossing my mind, I think this is pretty much my final form. I don't think I can refine my workflow any more than I already have.

I think you guys can agree that losing the sketch phase is an incredibly justifiable sacrifice to make in exchange for you guys getting way more content way faster.
