Beautiful goddess (Patreon)

I have never been one to believe in the gods, never mind pray to them. That all changed for me one night while I was walking home. I found myself surrounded by thugs, they didn’t ask for my money and went right to attack me.  There was no way I could take them all on, so I tried to run away from them. As I was running I heard a woman's voice call to me from a nearby shrine. With nowhere else to hide I ran inside and closed the door. I looked around for the woman who called out to me before, but the only thing in there was a statue of the goddess of sexual love and beauty, Aphrodite. Perhaps the woman left so she wouldn’t be in danger while I hid out here. After a few hours of waiting out here, I figured they had lost me. The truth is they were unwilling to kill me in the house of a god, so the second I stepped outside one of them stabbed me through the stomach.

I fell to the ground with my blood spilling out, not soon after they looted my body while I lay helplessly. After they left, I tried to stop the bleeding but my wound was too deep. That’s when I heard her voice again. She told me to come back inside, desperate to be saved. I crawled back into the shrine, leaving a trail of blood behind me. Once again there was no one inside, I must have been losing it due to a lack of blood in my body. I could feel my life beginning to fade, that’s when she appeared in front of me. The goddess Aphrodite. She told me my body was too damaged to save, but she could offer me a new one, a new life that is. She said it would be a wonderful one, where I wouldn’t have to worry about this happening again. I would be able to experience a new life full of pleasure and happiness. With my dying breath, I agreed to do anything to continue living.

I woke up the next day feeling incredibly different, my hair was in my face and I was much shorter. When I went to check my new body I quickly realized she turned me into a very gorgeous woman. I was kinda freaking out and quickly got dressed in these robes that had been lying around. I then went off back to the shrine from last night. When I got there there were a ton of guards keeping people from entering. I went up to get a closer look, and as I was trying to see inside a guard waved me over. He called me sister Mell and brought me inside. He explained they had been waiting for me to show up since I was the person in charge of the shrine. He went on about how someone was found murdered inside, stabbed in the stomach, and praying to the statue. They had no suspects but assured me they would have extra guards patrol around so this doesn't happen again. I’m still in shock, not only was I killed and reborn as a woman, I was now a shrine maiden. I’m really glad to be alive, but what am I supposed to do now? That’s when the sunlight started to reflect off the goddess statue onto one of the guards. I’m guessing she wants me to do something with him, the thought of which should frighten me. She did save me, so I doubt she would lead me astray now. Okay, here goes.
