Itzel was in the bedroom working on her costume. She'd been working for weeks to create a Nahida costume for the Genshin Impact group she was a part of. They were all amazing people with great costumes, and they were nice to her, but she didn’t want to make them look bad and hate her.

So it had to be perfect. Which it nearly was, it was just a shame that she wouldn’t be able to wear it until their next meeting was a month away. Of course to Itzel who was incredibly shy and the youngest, that was okay, plenty of time to prepare mentally for it.

Of course, there was a change of fate, and she got a text from Turner saying he was hosting a Genshin impact-themed party and he wanted them all there, including Itzel who he mentioned by name knowing she’d convince herself not to go.

Itzel felt her heart race. She was so nervous about it, but she really wanted to go. So she ran downstairs and asked her parents if it was okay. They seemed surprised that she wanted to do something like this and were more than happy to let her do it.

So after getting into her costume her parents dropped her off at Turners and said they’d pick her up later that night. Itzel ran up to the door and was about to knock on it, but then a bit of panic hit her. What if she was the first person to show up, or worse the last?

Itzel ran around the side of Turner's house and looked in the windows, as she suspected, no one was there yet. She couldn’t look too eager by being the first one to show up, so she was going to hide on the side and wait.

She watched as Luke and Ariel arrived and got themselves inside. She waited a minute to not seem weird and was about to come out and go in, but then Cohen and Imani showed up and she couldn’t risk being caught as a creep on the side.

So she waited again, but then more people showed up. Jenna, then Beckham, Kristin and her niece, then Dustin and Willow, and finally Markus and Zariah. Itzel then realized that was everyone and now she was the last to arrive, despite not wanting to be.

She sat there trying to work up the courage to just go inside, and then out of nowhere Turner appeared. He reached his hand out to her and told her to come inside. Itzel felt her heart calm down and she looked up at him.

Being around him made her feel so safe, and looking at him was like looking at the shiny night sky. Of course, she could never tell him that since he was a couple of years older than her, despite them being in the same grade.

She grabbed his hand and followed him inside. There she was greeted by everyone else, all of whom said her costume came out incredibly amazing. Itzel felt a bit at ease and started to go around chatting with people.

Of course, she wasn’t very good at it and would panic every so often. So she decided to take a break and go into the kitchen where she saw Penelope on the floor eating pretzels. Penelope greeted her and said it was so cool there was another kid in the group like her.

Itzel puffed her cheeks, she wasn’t a kid, at least not like her. Itzel was like five years older than Penelope. She tried to tell her that and act as mature as the others, but Penelope saw right through it and said she could relax she wouldn't tell.

She then offered to share the pretzels. Itzel sighed and gave in, they did seem good, and Penelope seemed easier to talk to since she was actually the youngest one here. So Itzel sat down next to her and the two started to chat while eating pretzels.

They talked about their favorite characters and costumes before Itzel was full and had a bit more energy and confidence to go back out and chat with the others. She thanked Penelope, got up, and went back to the living room.

A bit after that everyone was sitting around playing Genshin on either their phones or Turner's television. Itzel was paired up with Imani, Markus, and Ariel. They were helping Markus find treasure in his world.

Despite being dressed as Nadiha, Itzel was playing as Lisa because well, she had large breasts and Itzel liked feeling like she had them, as she was very flat-chested. Itzel was so focused on the game, that she didn’t notice the bright light coming.

She was blinded like the others, but she thought it was from the game. She placed her phone on her lap and rubbed her eyes. Once she was done, she looked around. She noticed Turner wasn’t in the room anymore.

She stood up and started to walk toward the kitchen completely unaware of any changes. She stopped when like everyone else she heard Ariel's ruin mech start moving. Everyone else was confused and a bit scared, but Itzel was amazed by it.

Itzel turned her head to see Turner coming back in, but Itzel noticed something was off about him. She wasn't sure, but it looked like he had a small pair of breasts now. Before she could ask about it, Beckham let out a high-pitched yelp, so everyone looked towards him.

Itzel was even more amazed to see that Beckham wasn’t just dressed as Paimon, she was actually Paimon, the cute floaty little sidekick that may or may not be emergency food. Of course, Beckham wasn’t very happy about it.

Especially when Kristin teased her by calling her emergency food. Beckham went over and started to punch her head. After that everyone calmed down, it was clear everyone had turned into a real version of their costume.

Turner mentioned a light coming from a nearby house, and that after it hit they all changed. Several people were pretty cool with their transformations, and several of them were embarrassed about it, and then there was Itzel who felt indifferent.

Everyone else went off to different rooms to check themselves out and Itzel just went outside. Unlike many of the others, she really hadn’t changed much. She was the same height and size as she was before.

Her wig had become her hair, but it was about the same length as well, now it was just a different color. Her ears were pointy now, but she couldn’t even feel her ears, so it wasn't even noticeable. Nothing about her really changed, not even her breasts.

Itzel sighed thinking about some of the others, especially the guys who turned into girls who had bigger breasts than her. Had she known this was going to happen, she wouldn't have picked a character she could pull off, but instead, one that was very curvy and hot.

Itzel turned around and saw Turner looking bright red as she looked at herself. Itzel approached her and asked if she was okay. Turner acting like she was hiding something said she was okay. Itzel could tell she was embarrassed about it.

So instead of asking if she had any idea why she turned into a female version of her character, she ignored it and told Turner she looked really cool as Venti. That seemed to make her feel better and she tanked Itzel.

Then the two went back inside to meet up with the others, as they did, Itzel looked down the street and swore she saw a succubus. She shrugged it off thinking it was just someone in costume and continued inside.

She joined the others who were talking about their bodies and she just stayed quiet since she didn’t change much. Sometime later someone figured out they had done more than just change appearances, they also had their character's powers and weapons.

That caught Itzel’s attention. Sure she didn’t change much, but that just made getting powers even better. She reached her hand out and was able to use Nahida’s Dendro powers. Which was super cool.

She watched the others summon their weapons and she wondered what hers would be. She knew it would be a catalyst but she wondered if it was a four or five-star one. So mimicking the others she reached her hand out.

Out came A Thousand Floating Dreams catalyst. It was a bit silly but she was happy to find out it was a five-star weapon. She joined the others and had a good night trying out her abilities and play fighting before her parents arrived to pick her up.

She explained to her parents what happened, but they didn’t seem to believe her, which was understandable. It wasn’t until the next day when the costume transformation event was all over the news that they believed her.

They asked her if she was okay, being good caring parents in all, but she assured them nothing really changed. Which they were glad to hear. Itzel then just went about her life like normal, and by that, she went back to being an awkward shy girl who liked reading and studying too much, but at least she had her good friend and crush Turner to help her have fun from time to time.
