Payment Decline Issues (Patreon)

There has been an increasing amount of accounts that got their membership declined recently.

It makes me worried becuase Patreon will still show them having their subsricption continue on their end but hide every patron-exclusive post from them, and there's not much I can be of help to solve the problem.

I hope you're aware of the issue and down below are some solutions I found.
I hope they can somewhat help!

If you're a new patron trying to subscribe with your credit card but fail, it may because your card doesn't support international transaction.
The issue should be solved after you enable your card for international transaction.

If you have pledged successfully once with your card but failed to go through your second charge the very next month, your bank may have restrictions that exclude subscription transactions. Contact your bank can clear things up.

Usually the decline issues rarely happen to users with PayPal but if you do be facing the situation, it may because your Patreon’s authorization has been revoked. Only PayPal can undo that action, please contact PayPal support team.

近期，越來越多贊助者於續訂會籍時發生付款未通過的問題。  

雖然Patreon的介面上依然會顯示您為有效訂閱，卻會移除贊助者限定文章的閱覽權限，造成贊助者可能會有收不到獎勵、通知等情形。  

希望各位贊助者可以注意是否有會籍續訂失敗的狀況。

初次嘗試加入，卻遭遇付款失敗的贊助者，可能您的信用卡尚未開通跨國支付。
開通此功能後應該能解決。

初次訂閱時成功付款，但於次月續訂時付款失敗的贊助者，您的銀行可能限制了月付扣款的交易。可以聯絡銀行解決問題。

通常Paypal的用戶較少發生扣款失敗的問題，但若您是苦主之一，可能原因為Patreon存取Paypal帳戶的權限遭到撤除。只有Paypal官方可以恢復權限，請聯絡Paypal的客服。
