Switching to subscription billing (Patreon)

No more joining on the 31st and then getting charged again the next day on the 1st!

TL/DR: New patrons will be charged when you join and monthly on that same date, instead of on the 1st of each month. Existing patrons aren't affected.

Greetings everyone! Now the long version:

Since September, Patreon has offered creators the option to switch over to subscription based billing. After a month of consideration, I've decided to enable this payment method.

I think this option suits how my patreon works the most. I always thought it was unfair for a new patron to be charged twice in a month because of the old way. I usually finish my pinup at the end of the month, and it made it difficult to promote my work towards the end of the month. Switching to subscription billing relieves a lot of that burden!

Current patrons:
No need to worry about any changes, you'll still be billed on the 1st of the month as usual. However, if you do choose to delete your pledge and return later, you will be charged on the monthly anniversary of your pledge. (e.g. if you come back and pledge on any date, say the 25th, your next billing date will be on the 25th of the following month and so on)

New patrons:
This change mostly affects you. If you pledge any time of the month, you will be charged on that same date for the following month (e.g. if you pledge on Oct 25th, your next billing cycle will occur on Nov 25th)

今年9月以來，Patreon為創作者新增了切換至按訂閱日期計費的選項。經過一個月的考慮，我決定啟用這種付款方式。

我認為這個扣款制度最適合我的patreon。舊的扣款制度會發生一個月內向新贊助者收取兩次費用的情況，我覺得很不妥當。我通常月底才會完成我的CG圖包，這讓我很難在月底宣傳。而切換到新的扣款制度可以避免這類爭議發生！

當前贊助者：
你不需要擔心任何變化，Patreon依然會像往常一樣在每月1日扣款。但是，如果你選擇解除會籍並於日後返回贊助，你將會適用於新的扣款機制，按月於新贊助日期自動扣款。(例如，如果你在25日返回贊助，你的下一個扣款日是下個月的25日，依此類推)

新贊助者：
你是這個改動主要被影響的對象。如果你在一個月中的任一日期贊助，Patreon將在下個月的同一日期自動扣款(例如，如果你在10月25日贊助，你的下一個扣款日為11月25日)
