I loved getting to see those little extra videos as well!! the isak birthday video 🥹 gosh I love them!! I love all of them and I really really enjoyed this show so I wanted to thank you all again for coming with me on this journey! 🩶

So I’m finally caught up with your skam reactions and I know you have finished it ages ago but I just thought I’d give you some insight on the remakes, if you ever get to them! I know others have already stated some opinions but I thought I’d make some sort of comprehensive overview for each so you kinda know what might happen if you put it on a poll because I think its important to know the expectations for what the people will want and how that can affect your view and the poll results. So I’ve watched all the remakes to varying degrees, there are some remakes that have a lot of seasons that I just never got to but I’ve watched all of the main core 4 seasons for each remake. So I guess I feel qualified to have an opinion on them 😂 sorry in advance if this comment is really long! Like someone mentioned some remakes unfortunately got canceled before they could complete the four seasons and some kept getting renewed even past season 4. Skam France was the first remake and it kinda suffered because it seemed like their agreement was very strict and they had to adhere to the original storyline very closely which gave it no originality and it was really very bland because of this. Of course, I really don’t think it was the people behind skam France fault by any means, they just took the brunt of being the first remake and what it came with that. I really do not recommend starting from the beginning of this remake if it gets chosen on the poll, everyone will be here only for season 3 and the seasons past that. As someone who’s favourite season is 2, just trust me this is the worse Noora and William remake and season 1 is a carbon copy of the original skam, season 3 is where its at. It is a fantastic season, so good, I could rave about it all day. It’s personally my favourite season 3 remake out of all of them and it might win the poll just for this reason which I will absolutely be here for!! I think everyone needs to experience that version of season 3. The seasons following season 3 are amazing too honestly, so continuing should be fun. Skam France overall has 13 seasons (wild I know) I would really recommends seasons 3-6! Skam italia is a very good remake overall, I don’t think anyone will be there for certain seasons for this one. It’s a very well done remake even with its similarities, personally one of my favourite Eva seasons and their William and Noora are so beautiful it’s a bit unreal 😂 it also might be my second favourite season 2 rendition. I don’t quite know if this one will win, it was very popular when it came out but people have seemed to forgotten this remake nowadays but look if you’re going to react to all the remakes someday, this one is a really solid one. It apparently has 6 seasons but I’ve only seen the main 4 and they were a blast, so well filmed. This one is just aesthetically beautiful. Druck (skam Germany), I feel like this might win the poll because everyone adores this remake. It changed a lot of things and it feels very new and refreshing, personally it wasn’t the remake that like stuck with me but I know it definitely did with the majority of the fandom and its very beloved. It felt like its own thing because they do change a lot, it made it fun to watch in real time because everyone was losing their minds. People will want you to start from the very beginning for this remake because it wouldn’t make sense to pick and choose seasons. It has 8 seasons overall and I think I watched 7 of them and they’re all well done and enjoyable. wtfock (skam Belgium) I really really really recommend this one. I think its the least reacted to skam only because it came out a little bit later than the rest of them and people had bit of a skam fatigue but I cannot stress this enough IT HAS THE BEST NOORA AND WILLIAM RELATIONSHIP IN ALL THE REMAKES (personally for me of course) I know they’re also your favourite couple so I can’t in my right mind not recommend this one just for them. It has 8 seasons overall but Ive only watched 5 of them, I would recommend watching seasons 1-3 and skipping season 4 (its not sana’s don’t worry) and then watching season 5 (which is sana’s). wtfock is also the only remake that tried to work with covid and quarantine which was interesting, there is a mini season in between season 3 and 4 called wtfockdown (wtfock lockdown 😂) which was important for certain characters and they relationships. I believe the fandom might choose this for season 3 as well, people really loved this version of season 3! Skam Austin (yay americaaaa😂) this one sadly only has 2 seasons as it got cancelled and it felt a bit surreal to have one in English and understand everything but like someone already said it felt a bit cringe because of that lol and I don’t really think people will recommend or vote for it only because it didn’t have enough time for people to really fall in love with it. We were all skeptical for this one I don’t quite know why, maybe it was because it was in English. Skam nl (netherlands) also only has 2 seasons sadly, it got cancelled too, except we all really enjoyed this remake and the friendships. It also veered the line of changing a lot but keeping things the same in a fun way, we were all disappointed and sad when it got cancelled. I don’t quite know if people will pick this but it was very beloved when it aired. Skam espana (spain) well what can I say about this. This one is so wild, so out there, so fun, so interesting. Just like druck, it changed a lot and I’m not saying that lightly. They really did change a lot, while druck tried to stay and have similar beats while changing things, this one took the OG and decided to make it their own. This one has the best friendships, some very good changes and some very debate worthy ones. Their William and Noora changed my brain chemistry and they’re up there with both wtfock and skam Italia as my favourite, however they’re just a bit different and erm well you’ll see if you get to it. If you do end up reacting to this one, I hope I can manage your expectations because it’s a bit gutrenching and everyone will understand if you won’t want to continue. I genuinely think this might the be one that I look forward to you reacting the most though, just because the entire thing is a wild experience and I would love to see your reactions to everything happening. This managed to do all 4 seasons and didn’t continue to further seasons but ooof it’s really something. Last but not least, I can’t believe I’m saying this, we have a new skam that is airing as we speak. It just aired its first episode during the weekend and were getting clips during the weeks. It’s called sram, it’s the Croatian skam remake and I’m really enjoying it so far, I cannot wait to see what they do with it! It might be fun to watch this one with us now? If you want to watch one while it’s airing, experiencing skam while it airs is just so much fun and I wouldn’t want to take that away from anyone. We can all be in this blindly together! This was a whole essay but I felt like I needed to do it because there’s a lot of remakes and everyone has their preference but it’s difficult just in general without the whole context. I will be surprised if you even read all of this but at least I had a blast writing this!
