I am so thrilled with this chat between Yousef and Sana, I feel like it was really needed for her to understand where he was coming from and see that he has reasons for feeling the way he feels, just like she has reasons to feel how she feels. really beautifully done! I also am loving getting to see some more Noora and Sana being besties, I'm always up for adventures with those two and I'm curious to get into more scenes with the other girls again now that we have merged, I feel like the parties are going to be a lot more eventful following so many people! 🩶

that last scene between Sana and Yousef is so beautiful. i love seeing two people with different beliefs have a conversation in such a peaceful and understanding manner. there is a lot of respect between them. they are so cute. as someone who has a muslim family, the male relatives drinking alcohol is all too real. muslim men tend to get away with much more than muslim women. it's really deep rooted misogyny, where people are unfortunately not being held to the same standards. its like Elias mentions in ep 2, where he says it was ok for him to be on a russ bus but not Sana because she is a girl. and we also got to know more context to the stuff with Even and the boys. idk if u remember, but in s3 when Sonja tells Isak that Even is manic, she mentions that he had learned the Quran the year before for no reason. and now we actually know the reason. i love how skam connects stories like this, everything in this show means something. i had mentioned in a comment before that in the s3 text messages, Vilde told Isak that rumors spread about Even posting "crazy stuff" on the revue page at his old school. this is most likely the Quran verses that Yousef says Even was posting. and all of this puts into perspective for why Even had changed schools. the combination of this and him distancing himself from his friends.

This entire episode is just so lovely, both with the Sana and Yousef scenes and Noora and Sana. Their friendship is so great, and I loove the conversation between Sana and Yousef. Iman's face is so freaking expressive, I adore her.
