man oh man. I can't wait for jess' world to come crumbling down around her when things really start to hit the fan. some of the things she said in this video about how she hopes certain things don't happen had me side eyeing like no bodies business. she so casually brings up so many things that are going to be relevant or end up being an issue and she has no idea 🤣 please pray for me 🩶

I'm going to write while I go so everything will probably be in order. I laughed at the part where she pointed out that Wille was better had sneak handing off the sandwich than Simon and his drugs. There is like no space between Wille and Simon by the lake. No way the bodyguards were fooled. Like, doesn't ever guy brush his buddy's hair lovingly out of his face? Jess looking right at you when she said Sara better not be getting a crush and you straight faced and not looking away from the show. LOL> I'm now paused in front of the music room scene. It's not a good look on Wille and I'm worried what will be said. Happened pretty much how I though it would. But I would like to point out, if they both were just normal kids not rich, poor or one royal, Simon would have gotten into more trouble than Wille. Distribution is looked on worse than consumption. I will die on his hill, lol. Loving the reaction so far. She surprised me that she agreed Alexander would be fine. I was worried because of earlier. But it's a no win situation because even if Wille came out and admitted he did the drugs(which, I love Wille but it's not in him to do something like that) the school would want to know who supplied them and the Royal court meaning Simon would get in even more trouble. I'll also say this, I think I said it first time around too but I can't remember. Alexander knew what he was doing. He wasn't stupid, he deeded it worth the risk. Least submissive he's ever been. LOL. It's true, when it comes to Simon he gets a backbone unless it's his mom but that's for another episode. Okay, just finished. Awesome. One thing always bothered me was they never talk about Wille's drinking and drugs. I would think because of Simon's history he would want to know if this was a normal occurrence for Wille but it wasn't discussed. The only reason I don't think it wasn't discussed off camera was because then Simon would know it was the drugs he gave August to sell that Wille was on. One other thing that I don't think they really point out is Wille doesn't do these things on his own. He's like super susceptible to peer pressure at least in first season. He didn't go seeking out the alcohol, it was gotten for him at the initiation. He didn't go out looking for alcohol and drugs, his older cousin who was supposed to be looking out for him practically put them in Wille's mouth. Now I'm not saying he's not responsible for his own actions and mistakes but when Wille is on his own without outside forces getting him into trouble (season 2) he doesn't do any of those things and he's even more depressed and in mourning still from Erik and his relationship then. Which means unlike August, he doesn't need that to cope, he doesn't cope but that's for another season.

I agree so much re Wille and the drugs thing. He did take them while being in an extremely emotionally vulnerable state for several reasons (Erik's death, Crown Prince duties, the whole Simon and Wille's sexuality situation, etc.) and it was the other guys who pushed it on him. He probably welcomed it at the time because he wanted to forget about everything which does not excuse him using, but it is something totally different than your usual recreational drug use. Also, Simon did steal the drugs from his dad and did provide them to August to sell. So when he asks Wille if he should thank him or what, I'd say - yes, you should, he saved your ass :D Wille could communicate it better to him in the music room for sure. But we all know how their communication skills are and probably how ours were when we were 16 :))

Celebrating St. Lucia (13 December) is a really big thing in Scandinavian countries. She is a catholic and orthodox saint, but is celebrated also in protestant Sweden and Norway. My friend studied Swedish at university in Prague and they used to perform Lucia every year at Swedish embassy. She was chosen to be Lucia once or twice and she wore this candle crown on her head but it was electric for safety reasons. I guess the embassy couldn't risk anything happening to foreign nationals on their grounds :))

I always found Wille's aggression in the music room strange but I also understood it. Seeing how his mother tackles things in episode one, she was very aggressive and that's who he takes his cues from. We can want to not be like our parents but a little part always seeps through. And since he probably saw her being confrontational more than he saw her being compassionate, it's understandable. Neither could see the other's side of things. Wille has no idea what it was like to need something that only money can buy and not get it, resorting to shady measures. (Measures that I'm sure Simon wouldn't have done if August didn't start down that path). And Simon had no idea of the pressure that was literally breaking Wille. Neither Wille or Simon took responsibility for what they did.

omg I was dying when she looked at me after saying Sara better not be getting a crush! I held that together AMAZINGLY 🤣 aww, yes I think the music room scene brings up a lot of discussion! I also thought it was funny that Jess really didn't care who took the blame as long as it wasn't Simon or Wille 🤣 totally agree, I find it surprising that they don't speak about the drug/alcohol thing due to Simon's experience with his dad as well. because most people wouldn't want to get involved in something that has caused pain and trauma already in their lives! 🩶

ah yes that's it! I was told what it was before but totally blanked in the moment! 🤣
