GUYS there is so much to love and adore about this episode and actually the entire season! I love how different this felt from the other seasons while also still feeling like SKAM, which I briefly talked about in my wrap up. I love how they can be so open and communicate so well with each other now that everything is out on the table. hopefully we get to see some more cuteness in season 4 🤞🏼 also MAGNUS AND VILDE. the cutest and meant for each other really 🤣 I so enjoyed getting to go on this personal journey with isak and see him work through his feelings, ugh, so proud 🥹🩶

such a precious episode! we really deserved this after going through a rollercoaster lol. the minute by minute scene is one of my favorite scenes of skam. it is so tender and the dialogue is just wonderful. it also shows how isak and Even have almost swapped places, in ep 5 it was isak saying he thinks about how everything is happening and will happen and Even was saying he does not like to think about all that. and then in this episode we have Even worrying and thinking about the future and isak says they should just be living in the moment and just to take life minute by minute. it just shows so much growth from isak! so excited for s4!!! (:

after the show ended, the creator released books for each season. they contain the full scripts for the season which includes director notes and deleted/cut scenes. the deleted scenes are scenes that were usually cut because they were unable to film it. the book contains the s3 epilogue which involves isak going to meet Even's parents as he planned in this episode. I would give it a read, as it gives a bit more backstory to Even's family. You can find the translation here: https://anaisanais-stuff.tumblr.com/post/671023426877718528/the-epilogue-to-skam-season-3-where-isak-meets The book script actually opens up with Even's POV and includes the scene where he saw Isak for the first time (what Even was talking about in this episode). It's so adorable and i love that they added in a song from the romeo+juliet soundtrack again. Here's the translation: https://anaisanais-stuff.tumblr.com/post/669285878920806400/did-they-actually-film-that-scene-i-thought-it I mentioned to u a while back that there was some significance to the scene where Isak finds out Even is actually two years older than him. Why it was significant was because Even is a third year and 19 years old which means he is a year older than a typical third year. This was basically implying that Even was retaking his third year, and this is brought up in this Even POV scene. He most likely failed his third year because of his episodes affecting school. We also know that he transferred from Elvebakken, and in a posted text message from s3 ep 9, Vilde tells isak that rumors had spread around by Even's old schoolmates that he had snapped last year and posted "crazy things" on the school's revue page.

loved this season! btw even made a birthday video for isak that he titled “the boy that couldn’t hold his breath underwater” highly recommend watching/reacting to it https://youtu.be/_9wS9YxFBok?si=Om2KTZ9nHOpMugwI

Evak is the cutest couple ever! It was such a journey.. and I'm looking forward to the next season) ** btw there is a video that Evan filmed for Isak BD "The boy who couldn't hold his breath under the water" https://youtu.be/UC9fh2zy6eI?si=3mq4cEou2CSCvPQ_ .... but I think it's better to watch after you finish season 4))

such a great episode and season! :] im just sad that the episodes were so short and there was only 10 episodes. there was definitely more you could have included in the season about their relationship and character development without it getting boring. i loved the bloopers too for this season. loved your reaction (as always). for a bit of context in the bloopers - theres lots of scenes where magnus (david) is laughing when looking at isak (tarjei) because my understanding is that david is good friends with tarjei prior to the show and tarjei got him the role of magnus. they're used to being good friends and so struggled to act seriously in the scenes when they're looking at each other and trying to be serious :)

while i love noora, im not sure why they made her season so much longer time-wise in comparison to isak's. noora's season had 2 extra episodes and most of the episodes were on the longer side (usually 30-50 mins) while isak's season only had 10 episodes and most of them were only 20-30 mins. i feel like that extra time would have made more sense for isak's season than noora's but i still think they did a fantastic job with the time they did have! (:

i forgot to mention but i love how u pointed out the difference in this season between the others! i knew i loved this season dearly but i think u put into words exactly why i do. the season is a lot more "character focused" than "relationship focused" than the other seasons. i think this season had a great balance of showing isak grow as an individual while also portraying a love story. i would say eva's season was near that level, but noora's definetly felt like it was mainly focused on a love story. which i don't think theres anything wrong with, but i personally enjoyed that story structure with isak.

I totally agree with you!! it really was such a stunning scene to tie everything together! I absolutely adore them together and I can't wait to see more of them in season 4, even if it's just little glimpses! 🩶

Ryann Rodkey

ahhhhh wow!! this is so cool and I'm totally going to look into these. all of the extras in this show really give it something special unlike any other show that has ever existed and it never ceases to amaze me! 🩶

Ryann Rodkey

ahhh thank you for that context! that makes a lot of sense 🤣 I do agree that his season felt very short and snappy, although it had a lot of heavy hitting that the other seasons didn't have so I was a bit surprised his episodes weren't longer to give us some more relationship development but I still has a great time! 🩶

Ryann Rodkey

yes totally! Eva's was closer to this than Nooras but I still feel like hers was focused on the ups and downs of her relationship and how it came to be as opposed to her just growing as a human. I really feel like that's how Isak's was and the relationship was a secondary thread that added to some of his discovery. all in all, I've loved all the seasons for different reasons! 🩶
