Hi guys, I'm sorry to have a part talking about politics, but this involves the anime industry, doushin among others. South Korea is penalizing illustrators or consumers for 5 years in prison and perhaps life imprisonment for publishing, selling, or consuming loli content.

There is a recent news where South Korea seems to be applying a law to ban loli content, as many countries are doing lately, including patreon.

Many illustrators work publishing this type of content to earn money and live on their art, not to mention that there are many doujins a lot of this content, it is a very large market and that destroys freedom of expression more.

What do you think about this?

my vote (I usually don't vote): that this is ridiculous. Why do I say this? simple First you know that I work with this, they are my illustrations, and it is uncomfortable for me not to publish or draw what I want. (of course in this case it does not affect me ... yet) 2: destroy freedom of expression. 3: I find it very ridiculous that they ban things that are "fictional" with "fictional" characters and treat those "fictional" characters as if they were "real" people .... I would understand perfectly if it were a real flesh and blood person, that certainly has to be prohibited. but now it is an image. created by the mind and by the way is not real .... that's something else .... I do not understand what is happening in this world, I hope that this does not get worse ... that governments take advantage of the time for something that is worth it ... I see this news and an infinite disgust enters me (and that I draw filthy).....

With respect, I can honestly understand banning ecchie content featuring lolis and shotas. These characters are young and underaged and are occasionally made to be as young as kindergartners. But it's not as if a ban like this is unheard of - Even in India (I think), porn in general is illegal/banned. However, I still have concerns because, for starters, there are people out there who mistake anime and hentai to be the same thing and parents who believe this sometimes shield or punish their children, so I'd worry about what the politicians' are thinking when going through with this. You know what I mean?

Though I must admit; the fact that i'm the only one who voted how South Korea's ban is not ridiculous, so far, is slightly concerning

Look, I know that there are people who do not like loli content, I know that many times it is frowned upon by "politicians" and society because they believe it is child pornography. technically it is yes and no, because they are fictional characters And believe me you have not seen anything, I have come across gore content, sex mutilation at the same time is like massacring a person and those doujin exist ...... and to be honest, that type of content disturbs me (recently they asked me for content like this and I am so disturbed that I cancel everything) but I am aware that as long as the person who reads it does not apply it to real life ... they can see the content they want
