Since THEY started scorching the earth across the road from my once-quiet Grass Lair, it has been nonstop noise and dust. It looks like the scene from the RDA ships landing in Avatar 2. Giant rock trucks, bulldozers, heavy equipment dumping boulders, the incessant beep beep beep of stuff backing up... My oasis of tranquility has been spoiled so that 900+ high density houses can be constructed. There is no more grass, most of the trees are gone, it's just dirt. This is what it will be like for the next 3 years. Developers have bought the neighboring land to the north and south of me. There is no direction in which to grow, and even if there was, I can no longer afford it-- it's selling for $85000 an acre now.

The good news is that we found a nice quiet property about 40 minutes away, far from this BS, nestled in old horse farm territory, and it has everything already in place that I have spent the past few years building here. It has 3x the land here as well, and due to the massive price increase locally, I should be able to do a straightforward trade up. I have had a few calls from other developers who wanted to buy my property so I should be able to ring them up and make a quick sale.

Then I will have to move. Ugh.

Since I seem to only find time to work early right now, when nobody is around for streams, I'm going to attempt some regular offline WHEEL sketches to appease those of you who have been waiting forever.

Well now I wanna play the Red Dead games again. Seriously though, I’m sorry to hear that. Good luck

Good luck

Michael

Sorry to hear that you gotta move but I'm glad you have a solution prepared. I can only speak for myself when I say please take your time and just be safe. Art can come later. Nothing good (at least in the way of art n such lol) ever came from rushing.

Good luck Jeremy, I hope this new place will be the right one this time around so you can bellow.
