And finally, it's the new visual update for BoofVR from all the previews previously! I've been excited to share this out - while it's still rough and there's plenty more to dress, I hope you all enjoy the new aesthetic!

For the 2-part zip file download, you can download one of the zip files, wait for a day, and download the 2nd part after. This is the easiest way to work with the 5gb download limit on megaupload as a free user for now while I wait for itch.io to respond to me for a better download method. Use WinRAR or 7zip to then unpack the files into a folder once you have both zip files downloaded. Again, I apologize about this, and am actively looking into this daily.)

How To Run
1. Download from the link above. If you have low connection, you can always download the larger files one by one instead. Click Download here to download everything altogether:
2. Open and extract all files using WinRAR or 7Zip, in a folder wherever you wish! Your folder should look like this:
3. If there are any issues with the download link, please let me know - I'm currently still searching for better ways to file host builds :)
4. Run the .exe for PC mode. You do not need to install anything, this should work immediately just by double click on the BoofVR_Touch.exe file!

To Run VR Mode
Right click on BoofVR_Touch.exe> Create shortcut > Right click on the new shortcut > Properties > Shortcut tab > In "Target:", add -vr at the end of that line like the image below:

Issues & FAQs
- Character is currently affected by gravity and collisions when trying to lower them enough or float. This has been addressed and will be looked into for next build.
- VR not working for some people. Some notes shared here:
1. Rename the folder to just "BoofVR", it seems like there's sometimes an issue about having a "." in a folder name and VR would not start because of this.
2. Oculus Quest 2 seem to have issues at the moment and we're looking into possible reasons for this.
3. An idea to make a separate dedicated .exe for VR was noted.
If anyone else has notes or reports for performance, please feel free to mention them in the comments!
I'd like to especially know about performance for fluid effects with Were, and lighting for the day & night cycle test in the Beach level. Thank you!

Changelogs
• Majority of this update is entirely visual, hence why the project gotten larger in file size. This will be cut down and optimized down the road however, as there were assets made that were tests instead of final art.
• Old maps are in progress of being reworked, you can see them in-game!
• The Bathroom has been reworked
• The Beach level is a lighting test level - I would appreciate it if everyone can write their input to see how the level runs for them as I've wanted to try out the day/night system for VR+PC. Ignore how fast the day/night cycle is for now, it is just to test and see if your machine can run it well - please comment what your performance is like! <3
• The Garage is being reworked (WIP)
• The Sushi Bar is being reworked (WIP)
• New Werethrope model (WIP) is available and currently only loops, to test out and see if other PCs handle the method of fluids well
Further notes will be written the next weekend showing off some new previews and art coming into the project, as we've now gotten ourselves another artist to work on models! Again, more on this later, as well as an extra preview for tier 2 patrons.
