Plan going forward:

I'm going to try and resume a daily word count goal on "Monsters of the Forest" I'd like to have a big release for the game's anniversary in march, but it'd be better to be done before then.

I'm also going to try and finish up a mod for Bottled Starlight's "Runes of Pandemonium" It's a small to medium project and I've already begun.

Report on January:

Just miserable. My life situation is changing and I'm going to have to move in the medium term. Sadly all this makes me super anxious, which in turn means I have a hard time focusing.

I was for a while getting daily writing goals done on "Monsters of the Forest" I probably got about 5K done. Not miserable, but not nothing.

As is often the case I started to procrastinate by working on another project. This time it's a mod "Runes of Pandemonium" I'm a really big fan of the game. The mod will just add more form specific interactions and intractables. It's about 20% done.

Anyway, thanks again for the continued support. Here's hoping things settle down a bit.

I have a fun how the sausage gets made story though. So I was changing the links on TFGS for the play online thing and the patreon link. This due to a bug made it so all of my games updated at once. It was a slow couple of days there, so it lingered on the main page for 2 days. Here is the effect it had on my itch metrics. (The big band is "To Borrow a Neighbor"

It was probably the best day for exposure I've ever had. I got like 40 likes and sold two copies of "To Borrow a Neighbor". My play online numbers basically doubled. Biggest challenge of publishing online is getting your stuff in front of people's eyes.

The moral of the story is publish a new update every time you write even one additional word.
