I've been working on the cover artwork of Light Fairytale and need advice!

Which one of these two designs would you prefer as the main artwork for Light Fairytale?

I have the same opinion like Benjamin regarding the store-front aspect. Furthermore, the realistic cover artwork shows more "artistic competence" from my point of view - it is much more detailed and appealing . The bright colours of the realistic version correspond to the title "Light Fairytale", whereas the anime version is somehow misplaced. My first thought when I saw the anime version was: Is this a new cover for "Dark Fairytale"? Or rather Blue/Ice Fairytale? ;-)

I get your point. Actually the realistic one is a painting I did myself, and don't quite like it. I will probably commission a new artwork (and a new logo) by an actual artist. As you guys said, it is very important that the first look in the store front - the main promotion artwork - make a good impression to the potential players.

I like the anime one the most, in my point of view the anime look expresses the general style of the game better.
